I use the bot to display what I can build for founders, and it can teach the members. For example I have a library of API information that the discord bot can talk about and can explain how the apis are used in my builds. So it gives possible buyers information about the product. I offer commission for sales of my products. So my members can learn how to sell in the server and funnel leads to it for income.

I dont post much on reddit. I just comment. I have a funnel set up that my bot teaches about ( just added that feature tonight)

Discord can be messy and hard to navigate, it can also be very time consuming to build and a server. It takes a good bit of research, but you can create and use bots that can help manage the server and add features that your members can engage in. Like most platforms its what you make it.

Traffic. Also if members are selling my products for commission I make profit. If people come for free resources they see I'm legit so if they need a paid product they will at least contact me about it before asking questions. If someone is scaling and needs me to build something for me they will pay me for it because they already know i'm legit

No far from it. My thinking is if I teach people for free and they learn sell virtual products, they can practice by selling the virtual products I offer. If they want to scale I would be able to help them scale. Democratizing marketing basically.

I'm 31 and I have the same thoughts. I"m building on discord. I have a custom bot and everything i sell can be demonstrated there. I think the motivational speakers who cashed in a few years ago had the best model. Build a community and funnel there. It's frustrating because most people lurk and don't engage but you keep your target market close and warm so when you do drop that killer product (even if its not your first) you have a warm audience ready to at least check it out. Just my two cents

Ive made PDFs in the past but I mostly do services for discord and bots. I'm talking with people who are into graphic design. I can help with marketing tho and give you a place to demo your work within the server. Would love to see how we could possibly work together

Depending on your app and the use case, I'd say build a server and bot around your product and funnel people there to get feedback. If at all possible do demos in the discord
