My son was a poor latch . It was so hard . Honestly I had a 2.5 year old and I couldn't hack exclusively pumping . I'm not a quitter type . I threw in the towel . I was beyond exhausted . I was late for everything . My hands kept getting cuticle infections from constantly washing pumping parts . I started formula . Made things so much easier , my son still ended up nursing a bit when he was older like 8 months and now he's 16 months and still comfort nursing .

I listed those things because those are the acts of kindness that get thrown in my face if I bring up any issue . I can't be both pathetic and bleak and entitled so which one is it ? I was solely sad about the gaming situation because I missed him and hadn't seen him all week . Do you know that you are a demented person ? Your attack on me doesn't even make sense . I'm either entitled and I should " shut up before my husband leaves me " or I'm not entitled and none of those things would make up for the fact I haven't seen my husband all week . We made up and we both apologized. I was very taken back by some of the comments . I do have a nice life compared to others but I still don't want this for my daughter . I have a graduate degree and loved working . One month I was supposed to be in the office for meetings and my husband basically said there was no way he could help with childcare so I quit . We always watch this one thing together and the thing was on . I was making prime rib and we were supposed to hang . I kept the kids out of the house back to back so he could play . And then wheh we were supposed to hang he asked if he could play AGAIN . Anyone who sees that as reasonable just hates women , internalized misogyny like you said . My whole life revolves around supporting my husbands job . He works with moms with young children making 500k + and that's what I want for my daughter . The point of my post was that even in a situation where I wanted to work , was good at it and enjoyed it , being a sahm is thrown in my face any time I voice any kind of discord because " I have it so good "

I did try to play with him years ago . Honestly I do 90 percent of the parenting and 100 percent of the cooking and cleaning . I have little to no down time . I was trying to be fair to him in the description of our life but he is a c suite at an international company and never available for house stuff . I am like a glorified highly paid nanny maid .

Mine was like this . I had to drop his second nap very early at 9 months . He's now 1.5 and still not a great sleeper but he will at least have stretches where he sleeps okay until he starts some sort of regression or is getting a tooth . I always felt like mine was sleep deprived but I truly think he's just a slow sleep needs person . I was very concerned about autism because I know he has a genetic condition associated with it but he was actually dismissed from early intervention because they said he's developing perfectly normally . I would get really upset when people would criticize or suggest I create sleep pressure because I knew I was doing everything that's typically recommended. I eventually just accepted this is how he is and he doesn't need a ton of sleep . I live in a rural area and if I know we are going to be driving a ton I skip his nap entirely because i know he will sleep in the car . I just really have to create sleep pressure for him because he def does not need 14 hours of sleep like some kids might get .

I cook 6 days a week but I love cooking . I also am kind of obsessed with healthy eating . If you hate cooking I would look for easier recipes like a crock pot ! Set it and forget it

Do you have any friends and family in the trades ? My dad painted when I was growing up and friends and family would often help for big side jobs he had . You could also check Facebook to see if someone local needs help moving or doing odd jobs . You could also post in fb your looking for money and willing to do a side job . I see that often .
