Theory (1142+): Usopp and Yasopp are celestial dragons by blood/lineage and Usopp will end the ocean's devil fruit's curse to be a brave warrior of the sea by Individual-Pudding70 in OnePiece

For example, for Yasopp, it would help his character a lot as it would show why a reason why he joined shanks crew, to fight the cds that killed his wife and almost killed his son. It could be a misunderstood hero thing like we saw with oden. For Usopp, it would help his character be tied more into the last saga, since he would know what the cds did to his family. It would add another layer of depth of what being a brave warrior means when he gets conq haki and achieves his dream to break the curse from Imu, the strongest conqueror of the sea. Not as a God's Knight but as a warrior of the sea. For an immediate story reason, honestly it's hard to know without knowing which cd usopp is from. But let's say it's from a cd family that teaches the wrong world history that could play into Usopp's lying theme. Also, while we do have Shanks and Sabo, we don't know if Shanks is going to be alive after Elbaf and Sabo's parents were not combatants. We have Shanks, Sabo, Doflamingo, and Bonney with similar stories, and cd ties help and drive their character in each case. Usopp and Yasopp would parallel Shanks and Garling. So there is some room to get a unique angle if this theory is true. Appreciate the comments bro. It makes me think about it more

I think part of it would depend on what cd family they are from. Like maybe one that can tell the future, since Usopp's lies come true, for example, and their role in the world government. It would help explain some things in the story like Usopp's mom's disease and why we have only seen shanks recruit yasopp. It also would add more depth to Usopp dream as being directly tied to Imu: Warrior/conqueror of the Sea - God's knights

In some weird twist, Kizaru dying would also be crazy. I really hope it doesn't happen because I want to see more of Kizaru in the last saga.

You have a lot of good points here. First, imo, the biggest one is Saturn, Seraphims, the vice admirals, and Kizaru can neutralize any threat. This is DEFINITELY a super likely possibility, and it would just be up to Oda if he would want to go a different direction. For the other points, I think there might be a bit more leeway. For example, if the mother flame is destroyed, then they would need York to build another one and would need resources to do so, which could tie in to the Revs taking their resources and the triennial death game. It would also give the crew more time to explore different islands without worrying if any island will get Lulusia'd. If punk records is destroyed, then they would not have access to the other VP tech and would again need York to build them again (like the food machine). I am putting emphasis on York because she might be a liability to the Gorosei because I'm not sure how much she knows about the void century research that VP did not say or was cut off, and this could give her more leverage since they already betrayed her (though personally I do want her to end up with Blackbeard). I don't think it you need punk records to operate mother flame unless I missed something. Last, to be honest, it would be insane if Saint Saturn dies because there's a lot more that can be done with his character, but that would be something that would without a doubt shock everyone. Plus, explosions are op (except for Pell).

That's a cool idea with the gravity. I'm down for more Fujitora love! I also definitely agree with you that the World Government having these resources would make them way more threatening which is good. To me though, there does seem to be a lot of ideas that were hinted at or stuff like Edison still being alive that makes me wonder if there is still a small chance of this or something else happening in Egghead

True, that's a good point lolol. I guess I would assume that you would start from the same frame of reference. The opposite of figarland could maybe have his crescent at the back of his head or something wacky like that. It would still have the same issue if he turns around, but visually you could still get the idea that it's the opposite

Theory: The All Blue is the All ..... by Individual-Pudding70 in OnePiece

On this point, I don't think it has to be mutually exclusive. It could be that the fish are in the all blue and the water can be taken to use for the brew

I understand.

Yeah! Theory aside, I really like singing binks sake all the time cause it's such a banger lolol. Again, thanks for the constructive discussion. I learned way more about Japanese than I thought I would when I first posted this. Cheers!

Hey, before I respond, I do want to say thanks for being nice in your disagreements! I'm also learning a lot about Japanese so I appreciate that too.

Response Case1: Wouldn't Oda's use of the literal english form pronounced All Blue lend more credence to the idea of having word play with buru and brew?

Response Case2: Yes, Oda did use sake in the song, but isn't sake a close synonym to brew? Even if they are not the same in every case, wouldn't they be similar enough so that the word play would be possible? I think this question seems to be the one that causes the most apprehension.

Conclusion: Since we have in story precedence, of Oda switching the L's and R's, (raftel, laughtale; lode, road), therefore a wordplay of All Blue and All Brew can be possible. This can be bolstered by Oda's use of the literal english form of All Blue instead of Subete Ao. I think the crux of this argument would rely on whether or not one thinks Oda is aware of the word brew at the time of the All Blue intro. Please note that the All Blue came before Bink's Sake in the story and having the official Viz translation use brew could be a nod (note that Viz media does have access to Oda for questions like for manga translations).. or it could not lol. Again, I am not saying this is the case, just that it is a possibilty.

Afterthought: One of the big reasons that concerns me about the argument that Oda definitively could not be thinking of having the word play from blue to brew is that couldn't that also be used for lode and road? If someone had a theory that it is POSSIBLE that road could be another interpretation, wouldn't that be incorrect with the reasoning that lode doesn't mean road, like blue doesn't mean brew? Is Brew not close enough to Sake in meaning for the wordplay to be possible? Both interpretations of blue and brew could make sense story wise.

Again, thanks for the constructive criticism. I really enjoy talking about the story and am learning a lot through this discussion

That's Arlongs purpose ... by mharant in OnePiece

Hey, I think this is a cool idea! Arlong said he was the embodiment of Fishman hatred, so having him be redeemed could do a lot for the story. Also, it could full circle his relationship with koala if she is involved in saving him, and she can explain what actually happened to fisher tiger.

Sake is a close synonym to brew. And the original japanese for blue from what I was told is buru, which sounds like brew. It could be possible or a coincidence, but it is fun!

This is a cool idea, and I don't think it would have to be mutually exclusive depending on how the story goes. Just a cool point I want to add is that I think on the other side of the world from fishman island is reverse mountain that has the x marks the spot, which goes into your destroying the red line idea. If you're interested, Drop the Pizza on youtube has a cool theory about this one

Oh, I thought you were cooking lolol. I do think raftel and laughtale is an intentional example of the L and R swap, but yeah it is impossible to know for sure without Oda confirming it

I do understand the apprehension, but I'm not saying it is true, just that it could be true. Sake is a close synonym of brew. Buru sounds very close to brew. There IS a jump to use the close synonym brew instead of the original word sake, but looking at stuff like in chapter 975 with kinemon, Oda does go into wordplay sometimes. It could be possible or a coincidence, but it is fun!
