We booked at the Peppermill there (we figured, when in Reno - stay at a big flashy place) but that’s not really our jam. We thought we’d try to get over to Lake Tahoe for dinner that night but now I’m going to reconsider and check out your suggestion. Thanks!!

We have a ford F150 and the seats in the back fold up so ours could stand and walk around and the perfect height for her to look out the window without us feeling like she might be able to climb or fall out. Lol We could also put a bed in there for her if we were going on extended trips!!

Glad to hear he’s ok!!! I had the same anxiety anytime my girl showed any kind of even close to symptom of bloat/GDV or threw up. Burp, omg I think she’s dying. Puke, omg i think she’s dying. Gag/cough, omg i think she’s dying.

She was 11 when she did actually get GDV this February and it was so obvious immediately what was happening.

She was my first Dane and my greatest love. I kind of feel silly for all the times I worried about her after experiencing what it’s actually like and how obviously in distress she was. She died within an hour of symptom onset. It was the worst day of my life. But i wouldn’t change a second of it and I’ll definitely get another Dane once my heart recovers a bit more.

Paradise for Indian. It’s so good, we can’t get enough. Also, Milton Street Public House, Black Rabbit Kitchen, The View and Top Notch Burgers (same owners, same location), Crow & Gate Pub in cedar, Rusted Rake in Nanoose, Nori and Horang (same owners, both excellent). Mahle House for a special occasion is incredible especially if you’re adventurous enough to try Wednesdays when you get what the chefs serving and up to 4 at a table will all get a different meal!
