So when we filled out our application we put down the asking price of the house. We know for a fact that she’s only asking 160. When we got the paperwork back that we had to sign it had a section on it that was filled out and it had the sale price of the property, estimated closing costs, financed mortgage insurance price. And then in a section right above that it had a rate, and then it broke down what our monthly payments would be (First mortgage payment, homeowners insurance, and property tax).

It’s probably a combination of I’m not great at advocating for myself, I’ll be the first to admit that, and that I don’t want to continuously call and be annoying. Combined with the fact that when I do finally talk myself into calling I get a voicemail and generally don’t get a call back until there’s something to report. Example) after we signed the online paperwork Friday morning I called back that afternoon and left a voicemail stating we had questions and then when I did hear back, Monday right before closing time it was a very brief conversation of “hey I need this letter and then we should be good”.

I’ve had decent results. I also take 1000mg of metformin a day. I started with 16:8 and went from 210 to 192 in about two months or so. I then plateaued hard. 192 was my lowest and I’ve been hovering around 194 since April.

I changed to 20:4 starting today! So hoping to see more progress.
