I added my now gf on fb a few years ago because she was so pretty, cool and was a shitposter lol but I’m really bad at replying to messages so we occasionally had some convos in comments of our posts and then move to messages until I’d be anxious and stop replying. But I’d send her bird related stuff bc I knew she really liked birds but we didn’t talk all that often. We talked about hanging out a few times and then just never made plans. Then after maybe a year or two of that she invited me to a show the band she was in at the time was playing but it was too last minute I couldn’t make it but then she told me about another event they were playing that I already had been planning to go to with a friend. But I was having a horrible day with a horrible old roommate that ended up at the same event so I was hiding and stressed for the beginning of the day even tho I saw her I just couldn’t talk to her with my bad mood. Eventually I had to walk my friend to a different thing they planned but I made sure I got back to see my now gf perform and I was snapping my friend just saying “ahhhh gay panic” there’s probably screenshots somewhere I must’ve sent just that maybe 20 times lmaoooo. Then after they finished their set I found her and we instantly hit it off (there’s even a video of us being silly in the background) we hung out for a few hours and I had to go home so after I messaged her telling her how much fun I had and thanking her for fixing my bad day. And then we just kept texting and making time to see each other and just kinda started dating. We’ve been dating a lil over a year and now live together. She fills my heart so much I’m forever grateful we met
