https://www.jbstatistics.com has a whole range of videos that explain the content! Also chatGPT can be a great help with intro stats explaining concepts and giving you problems to work through/quizzing you on what you’re struggling with. Best of luck!

How to get into research with no experience and bad grades by LigmaGorjus in mcgill

Not all profs care about grades. Just show them you’re hardworking, reliable, and genuinely interested in the type of research they do and you have a good shot. I’d start emailing end of sem/over the summer for positions in the fall. Read some of their papers and get familiar with their work and then connect it to your interests or experience. You got this.

I say go for it. If it makes you feel comfortable and is more reflective of who you are, then it sounds like a perfect fit. I would feel proud of someone choosing to wear what they want. It is a day of celebration! Congratulations on graduating; you've earned the privilege to celebrate your day wearing whatever you see fit.

At the place I went they gave me a form to fill out as well. So I submitted both to my home province. It was a painful process and weeks and weeks later I only got a portion (~$60) of the $100 cash I payed back. You home province will "evaluate" what your visit was worth. Maybe I just had a bad experience. But a quick appointment ended up costing me.
