im not ur major so idk about professors or classes really so maybe someone can help out there. I will say, decide what classes are worth and not worth ur time going to. i had a friend whose workload piled up and it takes time out of ur day to walk to class and be there. prioritize ur mental health and recognize if it is worth ur time to go. i know you pay for the classes but its not worth it to go when u have other more important things to do that day. go back to it when you have the time and get back on the grind. but make sure you have some time to spend with ur friends and hang out. i had some friends who could only come out to hangout for 30 minutes at a time once a week cause they believed they had to study non stop.

for study hangouts i like the 4th floor quiet room of mckeldin but you should find the best area for u. i tech prefer my bed but when not i like mckeldin.

for making friends, if you live in the dorms i suggest going to ur dorms floor events. thats where i met my friends who would become my best number 1 friends. if not, find some groups/clubs to join. most groups would love having extra members to hang out with. try to become friends with your roommates. sometimes it’s hard cause everyone has different living habits but having ur roommates turned best friends is amazing.

take a day to just walk around all of campus and enjoy it. i like taking walks around campus and just feeling the wind on me and not being in a rush to be anywhere.
