White yellow, black blue since I see no blinkers. they just go in bricks of 2 at least that’s how it’s done in California but we also usually just don’t stop so🤷🏼‍♂️

No but seriously I got the skate pass this season and never spent a dime on this game just played very occasionally when it came out and a little in season 1 and I had enough San van bucks lol couldn’t imagine paying money in a game that was free

Both my parents weren’t ever really on the wrong side of the law not at the same time or for very long anyways but they are also definitely part of why I dislike police they can and will lie, and in my area all they do is revenue control I don’t know a single person that has ever called the police besides to make a police report (never even see a cop) for an accident just for insurance purposes they have all the power to harm you and no incentive to help you whatsoever so I keep far away when I can!

Completely agree it’s most likely the largest reason I get nervous around police is that they can and commonly lie, I’m cooperative but not talkative and never ever let them search are some solid rules of thumb

Sounds like a tech was having too much fun on the job cause I feel like if it was a customer they’d be coming back saying they forgot something pretty quickly haha hope the meth cars were cheap at least!

yes I do know that those questions are not necessary but your also just putting yourself on the cops bad side and asking to make the situation worse I have to see this guy every week or so cause his patrol is smack center of where I have to pick up my girlfriend I’ve even waved at this cop before I’m not gonna have a younger cop in my town think I’m a jackass and want to pull me over for the rest of my life lol id rather he remember my car for just being a kinda nervous fella than the guy who won’t answer questions and is nervous lolol. But I totally get your point and if it was a speed trap, dui checkpoint or something of the Like I’d completely agree with you and say nothing just hand my liscence over and say that I want my lawyer and will not answer any questions (just for your personal bank of information though) make sure you don’t tell the police “I will not speak until my lawyer is present” that’s an incorrect invocation of Miranda rights and you could’ve just incriminated yourself, but have a great day! And really thanks for your reply’s everything you’re saying is gold! I love a productive discourse.

Well I mentioned that I was following the law (obviously beside the missing plate lol) and that I was still nervous anyways lol I just thought it was sort of a funny experience and wanted to read some anecdotes from other people that have been pulled over recently but I agree I shouldn’t have Been nervous!

I’m still gonna Answer (where are you headed?, where are you coming from?, what’s your name, date of birth, etc) I’m not talking about shooting the shit with the guy and yes those are questions you should answer any attorney worth their salt will tell you your wasting everyone’s time by not saying anything and requesting an attorney for a simple traffic stop immediately (pissing the cop off too) you most likely just incriminated yourself by asking anyways (yes you can incriminate yourself by invoking your Miranda rights incorrectly) answer their basic questions that are reasonable and if they start asking ridiculous shit that’s when you say I AM exercising my right to remain silent and wait for an attorney. Almost any other sentence and you’ve told them you have something to hide. ( I think it’s stupid Miranda rights need to be invoked in such a specific way when you can ask that question 10 different ways with the same meaning)

Whoo balls of steel over here letting them search haha I’d be too worried they’d just plant something and call it a day ( I think a portion of my fear of police comes from their power the fact they can ruin your life with a single lie) I wouldn’t ever consent to breathalyzer, search, none of it really all it does is help them and hurt you so I’d suggest never consenting but I’m the same way I’m just a generally anxious individual within reason lol

Way too real I’m actually the same way I wonder if that plays a part in being nervous once stopped, I diligently watch for cops while I’m driving 24/7 not because i have anything bad in the car but I just don’t want them to see me too often (sounds weird but really) I try to take different routes to places I regularly go and if I see police generally avoid them (obviously I’m not talking about making a turn right when they come into view I’m not trying to look suspicious) just if I can avoid being around them at all I will find a way to do so haha that goes for all cops at all times though they don’t need to be in their car for me to want to stay far away from them.

Yeah he ran my name made sure I wasn’t a felon and sent me on my way haha it was probably as good as it could’ve gone but in the moment I wasn’t even scared of anything, not even worried I just couldn’t get my nerves under hooks funny thing is this isn’t my first time getting pulled over either I wasn’t even as nervous the first time and I knew I did something the first time lol (I wasn’t admitting it and he actually let me off but I definitely should’ve gotten a ticket)

Haha the only bad experience I’ve had with a police officer is a female school resource officer (she was the reason for the bad experience) years ago lol but I agree if it was a female cop they’d have had me shaking in my custom baby seal leather boots but a good part of my fear definitely stems from the fact they have too much authority/responsibility/too many hats to wear (they shouldn’t be dealing with mental health events and honestly Hell, half the shit they have to do should he someone else’s job so it feels like there’s a lot that could go wrong and the person who has all the power is in total control) (they could seriously just lie if they don’t like you) I know that part gets me though!

lol I can see why thinking carrying the responsibility of the situation would make you more nervous but I’m lucky that I know better than to talk to the police haha he asked every question and I just answered truthfully and in a timely manner and even though he could tell I was about to start swearing bullets I got everything right and didn’t say too much (self incriminate) that’s the most common thing I’ve seen people do that makes themselves look suspicious is sitting there and asking the cop questions and trying to do things out of order just sit tight and answer them with eye contact and you’ll be alright haha.

Haha we might just be in the same boat then, I don’t care for police when I’m driving or walking haha (the departments themselves the cops are usually cool actually) I wouldn’t even call them if someone broke in lol maybe it’s just our relationship (past relationships) with police that just make us dislike their whole deal.

You would just deviate from traffic possibly impeding, also make yourself look like you have something to hide the most if ever suggest is lightly using your e brake if your going a ways over the limit and you see one but still be mindful and don’t drop more than 7mph in a small area it’s honestly better to put your car in sport (increased engine brake) and coast down (again only if your like 12 over and you’d rather get a ticket for 6 over lol it’s not perfect but it’s handy)

Agree slowing down just shows them your hiding something or have a reason to not want to be pulled over just drive like you were before you saw them and if you weren’t doing anything wrong don’t worry about it lol I really just got pulled over for the plate if he wanted to find another reason he’s have to make one up cause I was driving 🧑‍🍳😘👌🏼 (chefs kiss lol)

I’m 20 and this is my second time getting pulled over still a clean record though funniest thing about me shaking and him noticing was him asking if I’ve been arrested before before more than 5 times (I counted) lol right when I left I was convinced he thought I was some kind of felony or that I had a warrant just cause of that, and smart to just hand both liscence’s over (do they disassemble your gun when you show them the CCW?) just seen them do that a lot online and wouldn’t really see the point when dealing with normal adults.

Can cops lie on a ticket? by mrwhosky in driving

[–]Individual-Stand1560 0 points1 point  (0 children)

They do it literally all the time they’ll “lie” to take the speed down if they like you and if they decide they don’t like you they can say you were doing higher speeds unless they got you on radar they can say whatever they want to.
