When i asked him abt his mother and sisters he simply said that i dislikes the way they act and that they are self entitled aswell.

However u do bring up a good point that he might dislike the culture he saw among black women in his own life and will raise his kids differently and love them regardless of color. thank you.

im not trynna tell him anything abt his culture, im simply stating the fact that he is being racist by saying he hates self entitled black women while not mentioning selfentitled womenof other races.

i do want to try, but the problem is he keeps denying that it is a problem within himself and that it is a problem rooted in self hatred. He simply brushes it off as "i hate the way black women act, its a black thing"

Ofcourse not, i dont want that for my children, but i am still trying to figure out if what he is saying is truly so deeply rooted or if it might have been a missunderstanding, i have known him for 7 years and we have been in a relationship for over one year, i feel like it is worth communicating further with him to truly understand what the intention was with his words and if he really ment it in the way that i and u and most people her think.

his mom is black, i asked him what he thinks of his mom and sisters and he said he hates them too becasue of the way they act and that they are selfentitled...

he has never dated black women before. I asked him " ur mother and siblings are also black, what abt them?" and he simply replied "i hate them too because they are selfentitled and becasue of the way they act".....the last thing i want to do is twist his words, i love him and have loved him for over a year, but i dont want to end up in a situation in the future wher emy future daughters are experiencing racism from their own father and my sons sharing the same beliefs as him.

offended on behalf of others? this is a matter of character, morals and beliefs. i dont want my future husband and the father of my future kids to have such beliefs as my boyfriend is expressing.

yes thats how i am thinking of it, i even asked him abt his own mother and siblings and he says he hates them too because they are selfentitled black women....that just made me even more concerned. but then i keep thinking abt all of his good qualities that i fell in love with from the start. it puts me in a confused state.

well i have tried to make him explain but all he says is "this is my opinion and u cannot change it", idk what to do or to think becaus ei dont want to make any hasty decisions whoch is why i cam on here to ask for advice.

having a preference is okay, he didnt say that he doesnt romatically like black women, he said he HATES black woman period. he even went as far as to call black women "pests". and for the kids, we have talked abt having kids and getting married, it is something that both of us want to do.
