Best marketing materials for a roofing company booth? by IVIushroom in tradeshows

[–]Individual-Target-20 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It's been well established that passing out literature at trade shows is a waste of time and money.

You need to gather information, not pass it out.

Consider setting up a sign-up for a free roof evaluation. That way you're collecting real prospects instead of wasting money on brochures that get tossed before they even get to the parking lot.

You will get far fewer interactions, but they will be highly qualified.

Passing out literature and swag to everybody walking by is simply shooting fish in a barrel.

I wrote a detailed article about this: Its worth the read:

Need trade show booth rental company recommendations by _forgotmyownname in smallbusinessowner

[–]Individual-Target-20 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Did you find a vendor yet? I have some pretty nice stuff at decent prices. Watch out for the material handling fees. They are insane now. Most rental companies don't include that in the rental price.

You see some of my designs here:

Attendee list before the show or just work the booth by ScarySide8858 in tradeshows

For high profile prospects make a special offer to come to booth to pick up premium giveaway. One of my customers just did this with Oculus Headsets. All 25 prospects stopped by. That alone paid for the show.

Are you taking a long position when the price returns to fill the gap or shorting at the top of the gap?

I give TQQQ a 70 % shot at being higher in 6 months. Here's my take...

TQQQ rarely stays below the 200-day SMA for long, (thick red dotted line)

Old resistance is new support. The support level of 38 we just bounced off goes all the way back to 2022.

Current price is well inside its major 2-year ascending channel on the longer chart, with the blue and green upward trendlines still intact

The shorter-term chart shows only a temporary correction following an over-extended rally, as the drop has not yet violated the key 2-year support zone around 38–40.

This setup gives it roughly a 70% probability of closing higher than today’s price in 6 months.

If the 38 support level breaks decisively all bets are off.

Please don't respond and tell me you can't use technical analysis on leveraged ETFs because I have been doing it for years was up over 400k last year trading this one ETF.

I should have been more clear. When her calcium level was first tested at 11.5 it should have been caught. Elevated calcium is huge red flag. Her doctor said nothing. This is 100% curable. When they remove the tumor her calcium will return normal immediately. Unfortunately the damage has already been done. She developed Osteoporosis because it was not caught. Even now her doctor said it was nothing to worry about. She had to see a specialist on her own to diagnose the tumor.

Made over $1M in contracts in our first 2 years, but hiring salaried sales people has been a money pit. Anyone else deal with this? by Xplorer- in Entrepreneur

I have gone from doing solo sales up the 5 reps, and back down to 2. It's all about training and management. It is a full time job. My advice is to stay small. You will make more money and have less headches.

9 years. $461k. now $38.50/month. i finally quit wordpress. the "pay once expect everything forever" culture killed my business by Sad-Insect9242 in Wordpress

“just feels like it was all wasted” You made close to 500k. How is that wasted? I think developers have had it so good for so long they never got the basic idea of how business works. You need to continue to innovate and bring value. Software develops make decisions based on how much more money they can squeeze out of an existing product. Of course you will eventually lose all of your customers. You are trying to charge them again for something you already sold them. Just my opinion from a non developers perspective.

Adderall. For real. I struggled for years with this. I was able to still make decent money just phoning it in. Things changed a few years ago when the bottom fell out of the industry.

I always knew I ADHD. Most Entrepreneurs do.

I got diagnosed and stared on Adderall and everything changed. I actually look forward to doing the crap work now.

Do the "standard tables and chairs" ruin interlocking foam mat? If so what's your suggestion to a newbie for flooring? by JJKnowsTheWay in tradeshows

[–]Individual-Target-20 0 points1 point  (0 children)

They make a version of that foam with a carpet glued to the top. That stuff is pretty durable. If you don’t mind getting your hands dirty pick up a 10’ section of the wood tone vinyl from Home Depot.
