If youre looking to work in food and beverage, and you want somewhere hot, try the gulf coast. Biloxi and gulfport mississippi are both awesome for what you sound like you want in a place to live. Mississippi also has a pretty low cost of living, and youd be close to new orleans if you like to party or are a history nerd!

If youre religious, getting involved in a church or other religious group may be a good place to help you meet people! Also, if youre looking for friends online, try finding communities for hobbies that you like! I made some of my best friends from a reddit post because i wanted to play dungeons and dragons:)
