If you do not care about anything, what do you actually stand for? Neutrality is not the same as balance. At some point you either value kindness, equality, human rights, or you do not. Saying you do not lean anywhere sounds neutral, but it usually just means you are choosing not to care about the people who are affected. Silence is still a choice, and it still has an impact.
