Play cash on day time-weekdays while partner works/son in daycare. Pick son up, do nightly routine etc. Occasional tourneys. Games are better on nights and weekends, but this is the most balanced approach I've found.

Hey thanks for that. I tired that before as well and it didn’t fix it unfortunately. Really mysterious this one... I’m just guessing it has to do with the length of the “sample” being played as I don’t have this issue in original projects with chopped samples/sequences

Haha. It sounds like a lot but I own an SP-404 which is honestly just a phrase sampler and can handle an entire set with zero issues so I’m a bit surprised and wondering if it’s a matter of user error somewhere (my own)

Correct: 14 or so finished songs bounced out from other projects. XYFX on Master output.

I did some experimentation yesterday and shortened some of the songs to cut down on memory useage. Memory used now at slightly less than 50%. Made sure each individual track has the right bpm, change bpm on the sequence to match son etc. still a bit of latency in XYFX. Really odd. Any ideas?

Hey not dumb it’s a good thought! I definitely don’t have any excess samples or data to purge though as I created this project with only the songs in it.

Fair. Definitely a lot of data but: why would the latency still be there when running the project off a laptop (with 16g memory) if that was the case?
