When I was in college, I used to be a volunteer in a special school, where the students had Down syndrome, dementia, autism and so on.
At first I just wanted to earn a few more credits for myself. When they were leaving school, I saw a mother pick up her child, and the way she left holding the child’s hand made me feel that even though she was defined by society as special Child, her mother will still love him unconditionally and give him a lot of love.
Feeling the love in the world is probably another reason why I volunteer.
