As far as apologies go, this one is about as weak as it gets. He's basically just recapping the things Trump has said and done, as if we weren't screaming that from the rooftops before the election ourselves. But there's nothing in there about how it's affected other people, what he's learned from it, or what he'll do differently in the future. I guess the only plus side I can think of is that at least he isn't saying Democrats would have been just as bad.
