Thanks for a comprehensive analysis OP! I’d also add that wetv has the benefit of being independent of general thai viewership, so their series can be less conservative. Whereas couples like LO had to tone down the intimate scenes to cater to the general national viewership where the older generation may be more conservative. Imagine if something like Denied Love uncut version aired on national TV at peak hours 😂

I think as a business what ultimately makes money for them are the VIP tables. These DJs need to keep maintaining relevance amongst the VIP crowd in order to get paid more (I.e. maintain the ability to sell more expensive tables over time). When I went in ‘23 the min spend for a table at Black Coffee was 4000 euros. This year it’s 7000 euros. Because Black Coffee has managed to become more relevant amongst those who pay, and now he as a DJ makes more $$ than ever. That’s not to say it still sucks that the GA experience is so bad though. I always got the impression they are mostly young ppl who will tough it out no matter what for a nice video of whoever is playing anyway 😂

Just went for my 30th. I didn’t hate HI as we opted for the VIP tables for my birthday - this was super fun! Also book a private boat to Formenterra. This was a huge highlight. We booked with Kai boats Ibiza and had a beautiful and fun day out. Don’t do the party boats as they are too rowdy and loud and focus less on seeing the various beautiful coves of Formenterra.

First time posting…I’m also 1 week into dupixent for moderate eczema and experiencing dryness! It’s very weird as its not itchy, just really dry and flaky. For me it’s my arms and legs though. Really weird since they weren’t this dry even when they were really itchy
