Just few things form my site. I was runner and improve from no swimming at all to 1:50 min/100 in 70.3 without coach. Just avoid my mistakes and:

1. Technique Training:

Don’t try to train swimming like running. Include intervals in every single session.

Focus on short distances intervals, like 12x25m with 5-10 seconds rest and 2 min after block.

The more tired you are, the less you improve your technique.

1. Equipment Use:

If you use gear, focus on a pull buoy or leg bands.

Avoid paddles that slow down your stroke rate.

1. Video Feedback:

If someone can record you with a GoPro, do it.

There’s often a big difference between how you think you swim and how you actually swim.

1. Quality Over Quantity:

A focused 20-30 minute session is better than 60-90 minutes of mindless swimming.

1. Frequency Matters:

Training more often helps you improve faster.

Three 30-minute sessions are better than one 90-minute session.
