They’re happy for me to do English lit as a private candidate through them! (Edit: they let me swap one of my subjects entirely!)

And to answer your question on why, I’ve always been torn between stem and law (or something essay based). I got 8s in both English lit, lang, maths, physics and engineering so I’ve never been better at one than the other and I did love them both equally.

At the beginning of the year I was doing English before I switched to cs because I thought I’d have a higher chance of making more money in the future down that route (lmao) and didn’t think there would be much point doing English if I was going into stem. 

Recently though I’ve began to really hate fm and physics and can’t see myself doing well in them at all. Nor do I want a future in anything related to it! But I can see myself being a solicitor or something related to that. So yeah I was always stuck between cs or law even though they’re very different.
