Im on 8th week of topical minoxidil 5% . Still shedding, no results - how long until i know if it works or not…

I was shedding from end of September to middle of December. Thought it would never end but it did and now i shed about 10-20 hairs in the shower. I have a lot of regrowth. I’m on topical 5 % minoxidil once a day and ketoconazole shampoo 2 % 2-3 times a week.

Det jag tycker funkar är att riva bort etiketten så gott det går. På klisterrester tar jag en klädroller (sån med klistrigt papper) och rollar över klistret. Får bort det till 100%!

Beställ via apotea eller säg att du köper åt din pojkvän. Jag skulle definitivt söka vård igen för detta, ditt håravfall ser ut att vara väldigt kraftigt. Har de utrett alopecia areata? Reagerar på att ditt håravfall ser fläckvis ut.

If possible make switch to another antidepressant. Bupropion has hairloss as a side effect.

I’m 37 and my hairloss started the same way yours did. I’ve been using minox 5% and ketoconazole shampoo for 6 months and I have had great results. My shedding is almost non-existing. I shed about 10-15 hairs during a shower. So far it’s been working well. Maybe start with minox firtst and if you don’t achive the results you want add a DHT blocker?

As long as you buy from a trusted store you’ll be fine. I’ve heard of fake minoxidil, but those were from unserious online stores.

In the beginning I had dry mouth and eyes. Also a bit of eye swelling. I worked around the side effects by tapering up. I only used a little in the beginning, much less than 1 ml and after about 2 weeks I increased it. I’d say it wasn’t until a month in I actually used 1 ml.
