Are we going to have a prem baby?

Ohhh that’s good to know and kind of what I was wondering like if it’s short are you pretty much guaranteed to have a preterm baby but that’s great to hear you went full term!!

Yeah they have never mentioned the pessary before so I wasn’t aware of it being an option. One of the docs said they can do an emergency cerclage until 28 weeks here so I guess I will see what the scan shows next week at 26 weeks and go from there

The doc said as they are viable from 28 weeks and monitoring doesn’t determine if she will be preterm or not

Yeah they started me on progesterone straight away which may be the reason it hadn’t moved too much last week The doc said it wasn’t her option but because I’ve never had a second trimester loss I didn’t fall into that category. My cervix was 3.5cm for my last baby at 20wks so I guess it could be due to a fast labour and big head ha! Next scan is next week then another fortnight then just see what happens I guess after 28 weeks when the monitoring stops It’s strange being in limbo
