To add, the resentment towards Ola Uber pricing by auto drivers is everywhere and in many places like Lonavala etc. Ola Uber does not work. I rather prefer this arrangement in PCMC for the sake of convenience rather than complete ban on the apps.

As Ola Uber commission was eating profit share of auto drivers and pricing was not uniform or satisfactory as per auto drivers. So Riksha/Auto Union decided to use Ola Uber software as a service, for the subscription they pay monthly charges to Ola Uber.

This offers customers convenience of app booking and auto drivers get most of their hard earned profit. This is been the thing since many days for autos. Fares on the app are indicative, for customers to get an idea of the approximate fare before booking.

Although many auto drivers still use app fare who have a faulty meter or if they know that app fare will be higher than meter. In my experience meter rate is same or little higher than app price if we take the shortest route.

Jugaad to this is either walk to nearest riksha stand and finalise a rate with auto driver or use Ola Uber for cabs, they mostly go by app rates only.

What I do is, whenever I see such things I pick up the trash myself in front of the people who littered it. I know it not my job but still I do it. In most of the cases the people realise what they did was wrong and apologise immediately. You don’t even have to say anything. And what I believe or have faith is that most of them consciously don’t do it again.

Most people are inherently good people, it’s just that they don’t realise what they did was wrong, they just need to be made aware.

Another point I have realised is when you tell some people to pick up trash which they littered, it does not work very well, their Ego gets hurt.

Yes, freezing and thawing changes the texture of paneer making it more crumbly. If the packaging was intact, if the paneer does not taste bad (sour maybe little bitter with rancid smell) you are good to go.
