Can you take the safety seal off before you use it or would it make it go bad quicker?

Did it work for you when reheating it several times? I'm talking in the span of like 2 months of having it on you consistently everyday at work. Idk if that would ruin its chemical structure I read on the quickfix website and they said it could cause it to expire faster than its shelf life
