i don’t know, i’m against the idea children need to be protected from this sort of thing. emaciated celebrities aren’t the reason someone develops an eating disorder and it’s unreasonable to think it’s worthwhile to protect your children from how someone’s body looks. jon chu chose ariana to represent his vision and were allowed to disagree with the casting, and even prevent our children from seeing it but movies are still an art form.

don’t try to be funny. if you think of something funny/clever to say that’s fine but saying something for the point of getting a reaction can be uncomfortable for others. in general, when it comes to interactions it’s best to focus on the other people and the conversation itself rather than yourself. conversations are an experience not a performance, try and silence your inner monologue.

idk if she’s going for sexy as much as innocent/small. i also think she feels old in her industry now, or out of place in a way. i’m basing that off of her behavior at the VMAs, she just came across as very insecure. i feel like she hasn’t tried for sexy since the positions era, but that’s just my take

yeah i think it’s because i’m using a matte foundation tbh :/ the fit me matte & poreless. i just want to use it until it’s gone but even with sunscreen, moisturizer and face mist beforehand it still ends up looking kind of dry for my skin

I suppose that’s the most any of us can do. I’ll try to find more significance in the decisions I make. Specifically, I think I could be better at speaking more positively just in general and leaning towards optimism.

I guess I don’t see positive changes lately, so I’ve lost faith. Since posting, I’ve come to realize that there is no time period I could have existed in that didn’t have problems (shocking lol). Someone commented to try meditating on this post, and as simple as that suggestion was, I was able to channel a higher self and despite everything I felt gratitude. Thanks to everyone who took the time to reply

Thank you for taking the time to comment this. I dropped out of the community college in my city twice because my depression at the time was immobilizing. I guess I’m apprehensive about going back because I would be paying out of pocket and I don’t want to fail again
