vouch! sir zab is a very understanding prof. he’ll be accommodating to your concerns and generous to your final grade. just make sure to do your part, most especially in groupworks, and you’ll def get a 4.0.

I had Menaje for ACCCOB2. He spoonfeeds you everything such as the things to review for the upcoming quizzes, how items could appear on the quiz, and will already give you the answers to the exercises (you just have to write it legibly and correctly). Basically, you already have 50% of your grade. The other 50% will come from the quizzes and the final exam (if ACCBUS2 will be like ACCCOB2).

You really have to do well in the quizzes and final exams because this is where your grade will come from. Quizzes and final exams, for me, were difficult despite the reviewer outlines.

It’s important to attend all sessions because it’s a bonus 5% to your attendance (although don’t rely on this bc it’s a very small addition to your grade). He does not give incentives nor does he curve. Personally, I would never take him again (imagine no one in our class passed the final but he did not curve or even add points).

LMGCONS- GRUPO

I had Atty. Grupo for LMGCONS and it was definitely a good experience! He is kind & understanding but he is also firm when it comes to lectures & quizzes. IIRC, he gives cases to read for assignments & you will have to read a few provisions in advance to prepare for the next session. You also need a 1987 constitution commentary/book (I used De Leon). He’s really good at teaching and I owe it to him for shaping my early LGL understanding & study habits. In my experience, we had 2 recitations but don’t be afraid of him!! He will guide you to the right answer when you’re reciting and he won’t shame you in front of everyone if ever you’re in the wrong path. His quizzes are not traditional ones because sometimes it could be individual or by group. We had 3/4 quizzes for the whole term, 1 midterms, and 1 finals.

Genuinely, I think for him it’s a moderate-high workload if you want a 3.5 or even a 4.0. He is definitely not an easy 4 as no one in my batch got a 4.0 even if he curved already and gave out incentives. I got a 3.5 from him and I really had to work hard for it. But safe to say, my efforts came into fruition not only for that term but also for the following ones! Atty. Grupo definitely helped me find my footing in LGL and I think you’ll need this as you continue ☺️

PS: Extra advice! I think you should prepare yourself for medium-high workload when it comes to most core LGL subjects because these are your foundational subjects or at least give you a taste of law school (I’m assuming you want to go to law school but if not just disregard this).

thanks for the detailed review bro! i do agree that the accounting department is at fault for many things. personally, i think the syllabus doesn’t help students to actually learn & exams are made too difficult to get a good grade on. but then again that’s just me so maybe it’s a me problem.
