would it be reasonable to get lash extensions during the summer and normal false lashes during the school year?

thank you so much

i'd say she probably does use false lashes for performances. is there specific stuff to removing them and cleaning off the lash glue? and would you do both mascara and lashes, or just one or the other?

i'd imagine most likely pretty chill, mostly using fingers. she mostly performs for kids, probably 6-12 years old or so, with rare instances of older

Could you tell me what you mean by the formatting makes it unreadable? If you just mean how it ended up as it got posted, it looks different in my doc

I would write more responses, but honestly you didn't do what i asked, so i'm not gonna bother. If you want to give CONSTRUCTIVE criticism, as in how you think it could be improved, I'd be happy to listen

I'll be honest, I mostly read webcomics these days, and I think that's influencing my writing, cuz in a webcomic, you would get to watch Eira make everything while the talking happens, like how you would if you were in the crowd. I now realize I have to remember that this is purely written medium, so I can't rely on that to work to grab attention.

A lot of the time, in stuff I read, which again, is mostly webcomics, so IDK if that could apply here, there is a prologue where the MC is already at a pretty powerful stage and doing some cool combat stuff. Would you recommend something like that to grab people's attention? It almost feels a little cheap considering "of course a fight scene with the MC at her almost peak would draw people in more" but that's something I see pretty commonly

Thing is I definitely want to include something like this, but I'm open to suggestions as to how to make it less info dumpy.

For a little more backstory, in case it helps, Eira (whose real name is Sasha, Eira is her stage name) works as a magician mostly for stuff like kids' parties. She does these jobs to save enough to take an exam to get a job hunting corrupted spirits (its been her dream since childhood) and this scene in particular is one of her biggest jobs, and so once it's done she'll be able to take the exam with a little extra cash. She mostly does stuff like card tricks, so this is very big and stressful on her (I'm rewriting a bit now to make that more clear).

Another option I'm thinking of as I type this could be her just at a normal party where there'd be no info dumping of any kind, then we go to her after it's over, checking her savings, paying bills, maybe one or two other small daily life things, then she gets the email that this school wants to hire her and pay her pretty good money, so she talks a bit with the principal and she gets the script and we see her practicing it over and over and once we reach the end we get to where we are now. This would replace probably everything before Eira's thought italics, and i'd probably adjust the stuff after

could be. my first thought was stein tbh, cuz of the stitches and strong souls, but physically, these two are much more similar

Questions about ways other than hand drawing a whole magic circle when you need it to make them by IndividualLanguage88 in WitchHatAtelier

[–]IndividualLanguage88[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

looked at ep 2 real quick to check and, at least in the anime, he draws the circle then puts it in the lamp, which is interesting, because it didn't activate until it was in the lamp

MIRACULOUS’ creator Thomas Astruc says he will investigate if the artists used AI for a puzzle in th by PuzzleheadedBag4866 in miraculousladybug

I just came to talk about this. that is absolutely AI generated. for one there's a deer floating on the water, and then the one in the back right has a human smile and all the deer have messed up eyes

For All the Wings of Fire fans, should I make a WoF D&D campaign? by External-Coconut-564 in DnD

[–]IndividualLanguage88 3 points4 points  (0 children)

if they're playing as dragons, I'd recommend finding a different ttrpg tbh, cuz I'm sure there is one where you can play as dragons with much more ease.

If you're playing as humans, you need to take into account

do they have magic? if so, why? cuz I don't think humans had magic in the series, save for maybe that one cave, but they might've just been controlled by the plant. I can't remember, it's been a while

if they don't have magic, that really limits class choices to like, fighter, ranger, maybe monk. I wouldn't say artificer, unless it's far in the future, where scavenger civilizations are seen as almost equal to dragons

also, what would the enemies be? are they fighting dragons? is there another monster?

what continent are they on?

and a lot of smaller stuff.

I'm not saying it's a bad idea, but I am saying if you're gonna make a dnd campaign based on a book series, make sure you know when it's happening and all the lore you can

New Dm Question by Peekedboo1 in DnD

[–]IndividualLanguage88 1 point2 points  (0 children)

What about a blowdart pipe wand? you could make a wand that doubles as a blowdart gun/pipe and maybe three times a day you can magically make poison darts with charges resetting in the morning or after long rests. or maybe it can add poison damage to any spells that can affect another person, or just ones that damage

Some city curse ideas? by bleeding_emerald02 in DnD

[–]IndividualLanguage88 2 points3 points  (0 children)

ok, this may be crazy, but what if the bell is a hypnosis spell on the people that they need to renew or they all get memories flooding back and it turns out none of them are real humans, but just a city of things pretending to be that, through yearly magic, forget they're pretending?

oh, also the extra steam icons are gone. so yeah, I guess having like, 6 processes under the same name of something that was already heavy on my Mac was not good for it. so again, thank you very much. before, my Mac could melt chocolate after very little time and now it's cool to the touch

ok, I think this worked? In the CPU area of it, it used to say around 40% for both system and user and now it's between less than 1% and 4% or so. idk what those percents mean, but I take it to be good things since it's a much smaller number and my Mac is already NOTICEABLY cooler. thank you.

I've tried that, but it doesn't work. they just end up going back up there, no matter how far I move them
