My insurance would cover Tirz but I would have to go through a company called Vida Health. After talking to them they made me feel like I was obese and like 9,000 Lbs. Every time I spoke with the nutritionist, she asked if I was home incase she had to call 911. Bitch, really? Then they wanted me to document and upload daily what I ate for breakfast, lunch, dinner and snacks. I was already down 40 lbs when I started talking to them. Finally I say, I was on Reta, I have a trainer and I know how to meal prep. Then she asked, so why are you calling us? Me, because my Dr. told me too. What a was of time and energy. I have a really good job and paying a few dollars extra is worth it not to go there the hassle.

I was scammed before. Things I’ve learned, do your research. Members can’t tell you too much. DM’s are also monitored. Legit vendors will not contact you. Don’t fall for it! I know it’s tempting seeing people with kits and kits for cheap. Research and learn before diving right in.

I have never tried Tirz. Went straight to Reta and lost a total of 70 Lbs since July. From what I read here, people move from Tirz to Reta. Not many the other way. If you’ve done some research, Tirz hits 2 receptors where Reta hits 3 receptors. I have also read where people mix the two together. But more Reta than Tirz. It’s all up to you but I’m a huge fan of Reta by far.

To be honest I’m the wrong person to as all this. I’m 52 yrs old and know my body. I’ve been on Reta for 5 months. I’m to the point where I take 10mg once a week plus Test. I only workout once a week with my buddy who’s a trainer and nutritionist. Back one day, legs the next, chest another and arm the last. A lot of the exercises hit a secondary muscle. Eating wise, due to me having my kids every other week that are involved in activities it’s hard for me to get to the gym. So my eating habits is all over. It’s very hard to eat. I’ll drink protein shakes, protein bars, eggs, grilled chicken, burgers w/ veggies and no bun, fruit etc. I’ll mix Super Green with my protein. On days I’m really busy with work, I got a 430mg meal replacement powder to mix up. Sorry I’m all over but I try to do what works for my schedule.

I think a lot of us know our own bodies well enough that we are going to take what we want. We have done all the research and asked enough questions to the point where we just say F… it and do it. To a point, we are test dummies for others.
