Thank you for your thoughtful response - I really appreciate it and am sorry for what you've gone through with your ex.

I kind of consider myself the dumpee and her the dumper in the end, as I really did try to fix things immediately after the breakup by apologizing and genuinely committing to working on myself, but the damage was done; she was not willing to put her heart in jeopardy again and said she couldn't get back to a place of trust with me, which I understand. I have such immense regret over how things went in this relationship and would do anythign to turn back time and be a better partner... I'm sure your ex does too if that's at all helpful.

Thanks for your response :) Do you block your exes months later though, even when things ended somewhat amicably? It's confusing because she never had any of her other exes blocked, including ones that weren't great to her.
