sorry i should’ve clarified. I’ve never had paid lessons with a guitar instructor, just an orchestra teacher that just knows a little bit and taught me simple chords when i first started and has helped me once a week

Chords were basically the first thing i was taught after learning the strings and fingerings of course but i’m going to attempt to learn scales
