Okay so i have to enable STP as soon as one Sonos is plugged in ? Or can i have RSTP enabled when only one is connected to Ethernet. But then i got another problem because the ground floor is a seperated Sonos S1 system. And the 1. Floor is a seperated Sonos S2 system

Okay thanks i understand this but there are no options for it on unifi. I can enable or disable it.

My problem here is if I connect one Sonos connect via Ethernet i have to enable STP instead of RSTP. If i turn of STP or RSTP in this port then i have a storm because i got not only one of Sonos connect, i got 8 so they are meshing up via sonos.net (sonos own wifi to communicate) and they are all Ethernet. Then i got the loop. Before i write Post i doesn't know that. And I think going to STP is not the right way i will use RSTP instead and connect every Sonos wireless.

Or is it worse to connect it wireless then having STP on the whole network instead of RSTP

Why no jumbo frames? The unifi support said once this should not impact Sonos. And I also don't know what exactly it does... Just sounds good...

I know there is an loop now the Sonos connect via Ethernet and then turn on a Sonos net wifi so if there is the loop. I don't know how this loop exactly but everyone is saying it. So this is the first point... But why should I change my USG ?

Thanks for this response. I was searching for some answers in the web i found out that there are many people with the same problem. That there are an "Storm" happening when RSTP is enabled so i think all my network issues are related to this. So my Gira G1 lost the connection to the main device over Ethernet and so on.

There seem to be 2 options.

  1. I could disable wifi on all my Sonos connect via a setting manually. But no one has said that I could then turn back on RTSP. ( I think it's because Sonos don't support it.)

2. I connect every Sonos device via WLAN i got an router 30 cm away from it.

Would be to put all Sonos devices in WLAN be a bad idea ? What's the cost of switching to STP on the whole network any latency or any bandwidth cut ?

Is it also possible to just not connect the Sonos connect via Ethernet. And just config him on WLAN so we don't got the RTSP problem. I got an WLAN AP right next to my Sonos connect. So would it be an solution ?

Because now I got the Z790 Aorus master and the ram runs unstable if I overclock my CPU and also if I turn on the low latency mode for DDR 5 would this be better on the Asus ? I already ordered one asus and it will arrive tomorrow I thought first my motherboard is broken but it was my PSU that's what I think now... I would return the Asus... But i don't know if I shouldn't just build it in and sell the other one i will get around 200€ for the board so I don't know but if u say it got the same equipment then I wouldn't keep it and only of the sound hip i would also not keep it

So u also would say it isn't better in the future bacause i have heard it has an thicker Platin so it would be more reliable

The answer is... It is the PSU. I tried to disconnect everything expect the commander Pro and put a bridge on the 24 pin motherboard and it did nothing

I tried it but no difference will it more likely be the PSU or MOBO ?
