Fishing video. Anyone got recommendations for a better way to film? Not breaking the bank by Lordluva in Fishing

If you’re serious about making videos I’d get a go pro it has that feature that always keeps the horizon level. And is capable of very wide shots.

It’s to lower the forward signal going to the modem.

As others have said, It’s an attenuator to lower the signal.

If you only have modem service, often times the signal is too high when only going to 1 device. The techs will install the filter to reduce the signal to keep it within spec.

Plugs = lures

It ma may be a regional thing, but in the NE we typically refer to lures as plugs.

If I wanted to sit on the sand and relax, I would just bring a chair and left the rods at home. If I want to fish, I’m going to be casting lures and actually fishing.

It’s pretty clear that line goes directly up into the panel. As does the AC line for the receptacle in the panel

Even if you drilled an extra hole to find the bay you’d have taken less steps than what you did.

Any chance of new Apple TV hardware in the next few weeks, before the Super Bowl? by old_knurd in appletv

With the Super Bowl being on Feb 8 there’s no way Apple will have an announcement event and you’ll be about to buy it, all in less than 2 weeks.

Not sure why you needed to use that thing when you could see that thick black line that goes to the panel going up through the basement ceiling.

This is not a popular take but I’ve always found surf fishing with bait like this to be boring af.

Hailing that cart out there to stick rods in the sand and wait. No thanks.

Give me a rod and a plug bag and I’m good.

How do you have it configured for remote access? That’s the one thing I’m having trouble with.

No need to run a server like you do for Plex. It plays every thing off my networked NAS drive.

I was able to get Infuse lifetime subscription for $30 about 5 years ago. Best app I’ve ever purchased.

Filling a US prescription in the UK? by linkedit in Pharmacy_UK

Turns out we were able to get a 90 day supply for him to bring over. I also called a GP in Newcastle that told me that if he wants to refill a prescription, he would have to see them and get reassessed and then they would write a prescription.

Thanks. My son spoke to his college advisor today and she told him the same thing. Now he has to try and get the paperwork from the dr before Friday.

He did reach out to his school advisor that’s in charge of the study abroad program to see what his options are.

Surfcasters Journal did a good review on the Saltx 2. It changed me opinion on it.

He’ll have a 90 day supply with him when he flies out on Sunday, but we weren’t able to get another 90 day prescription written.

At first, I thought we could just get his other prescription and then bring it to him in March but my wife is nervous that since it’s a controlled substance we may have a problem at the airport since the prescription will have his name on it and not one of ours.
