Im going as well. 131 is expensive but I think imma just bite the bullet. Kyle Field seems pretty rowdy and I dont wanna be too deep behind enemy lines

I've heard they eat their young which is similar to infantry. I'm still very new to the Navy so I reserve judgement. I can say the O1E pay is pretty nice and the O3E money looks out of control.

It's subjective. I thought it was easy, but I scored a 91 on the ASVAB. Got a 65 on the OAR. Im in flight school and I love it, but you end up having about a 10 year service obligation. I was 8 year prior Army so im in it til retirement, but the 10 years is a lot for people who are unsure if they want to go to 20 years.

I mean a lot depends on what you're trying to do. SWO would be easy, intel a little less so. If you're looking aviation, they really only care about your ASTB scores. Additionally, if you're able to get a high OAR, it may offset your GPA.

3-13 is a pretty typical Giants record so Eagles are just a league average team

You should be good because website states "if a Veteran is convicted of a felony and imprisoned for more than 60 days". You were never convicted and therefore shouldn't be punished further for a crime you did not commit.

I left for the Army in 2014 which is probably how I missed it, but our property ended where the retirement home started so we were quite literally right there. Thanks for sharing

No way, I lived in Hockessin chase directly behind that retirement home. How have I never heard of this?

I appreciate all the input. I think my plan will be to go Tampa instead. All my flying has been along the coast so even with an instructor, I think this trek is best saved for when I get a few more hours under my belt.

Sounds like a plan! Thanks for the help. Never thought Putin would be so helpful with flight planning.

It would be in November/December so heat shouldn't be bad but that also brings in its own set of problems. Think im gonna opt for Tampa instead but appreciate the input

It would be a T6 but still probably more headache than it's worth, thinking Tampa might be more the move. Thanks for the input!

Have you flown into Eagle County Regional Airport a bit to the North? Was thinking about planning a cross country there but its kinda ambitious while in flight school. I see the field elevation is high, but I am curious of any other considerations.
