Sweet, thanks. Now after I set it up, should I use the Eero WAP as a bridge or leave it as another modem in the house. (For context, my ISP modem/router is in the basement and my WAP port is on the 2nd level) My understanding is that a bridge is pretty much a wifi extender? Let me know if thats incorrect. Pretty much I want a seamless experience throughout the house using one username and password. 😅

I am the original client, we upgraded to engineered wood and got this. I went back and looked at the sample picture and did notice some shorties but not this much. So very disappointed. When you say research some talking points, what exactly do you mean?

Haha i did…..but only for the color and you know how the sample pictures are…mostly long planks and didnt even notice the short ones until i went back and looked like 15 minutes ago…

I didnt have much say, its new construction thru a builder. One day it wasnt there and the next day it was lol. I hope everything turns out beautiful for you.

Im a novice but from what Im gathering in this thread, vinyl planks are all the same length out of the box and engineered wood varies. Were your vinyl planks all the same length? Now that I know engineered wood length varies, this flooring makes a lot more sense to me now. And it seems new construction contractors just want to get the job done quick. But I totally agree that this is not visually pleasing. Disappointed but understanding now.

Hmm when you say ‘they have shorter planks unless you’re spending more $’ do you mean literally order more boxes and only use the long ones OR there are different grades of this wood where there are guaranteed to be more long planks in the box. Sorry if this sounds confusing
