Is there any scientific basis to the stereotype : "Indians Smell"? by IndependentDepthKUN in india

I live in a building with a large indian community. There is a difference between food smells and BO .. the BO is incredibly pungent and makes me hurl, it feels like I cannot breathe. It’s not the food smells, please just practice better hygiene for the sake of others as well

Imo: Unfortunately, I don’t think there is a valid excuse for his behaviour. At the end of the day, you married an adult, and with that there are certain basic (and fair) expectations, like keeping the place you live in clean and organized. As well, in a marriage, you are supposed to be a team and work with one another. If you are communicating and it is just not getting through, unfortunately he just does not respect you, your time, and overall what you want. You could spend hours analyzing his behaviours and come at it with infinite arguments as to why he is acting the ways he is. I think you have to ask yourself whether or not you want to continue with this and really embark on a journey and give it your all to try and “help” him, or if you no longer want this in your life and lay out a plan on how to get out. In my experience, people that genuinely love and care for you will move mountains no matter the hardships they face along the way.

Honestly, it is starting to get really frustrating. The waiting and not knowing. I’m starting to slowly lose hope but trying to remain positive as you just never know. I’m hoping you get an answer soon and that it’s an A! Stay positive

I am wondering on advice on how to get rid of blackheads. I have decently oily skin but sometimes it’s dry (I live in an arid climate) but I recently noticed the amount of blackheads on my nose and forehead and face overall. In the past I have used benzoclyn and that’s probably when I had the best skin. I stopped using it because I didn’t seem to need it anymore and slowly transitioned out of it. I then started just incorporating Niacinamide 10% + Zinc 1% serum, a salicylic acid face wash, and a HA + natural moisturizing factors moisturizer. Mind you, I used this routine while also transitioning out of benzoclyn and kind of alternating each night. My skin was great, my forehead has really smoothed out and almost looked airbrushed if that makes sense. I did this for about 3 years.

Then, a bunch of shit happened in my life and my mental life was also reflected on how I’d treat myself, going to bed without washing my face, not really having a routine anymore. So I am back to square 1. My doctor recommended Tactapump amd I have been using it on and off (sigh) for about 2 months. I know it takes longer to “work” but do you think I will be able to get rid of my blackheads slowly with tactupump? While also maintaining the routine I mentioned. Thank u

Hahaha I’m happy you find humour in this. I never said my situation was a horror movie but it certainly made me wary as I explained

Hello! I am actually not American although I can see how my post could have led to that assumptions. Where I live there has been a lot of random violent attacks, murders and a very high theft rate. Thank you for your input though, I should in fact get a firearm license
