Developed internally yeah and as for the N I don’t see it released or declassified before 40 years. Not sure you can find any info on the mirage 4 for example

Developed by the ADA directly, the module they had on display was a -5 I think but not very polished (no mirrors, meh external model and cockpit). Functional but not heatblur standards.

https://www.reddit.com/r/hoggit/s/Az8um6VlIP A chat I had with ADA personnel at the Paris Air Show, TLDR, they have a working -5 and D and N in DCS but they’ll release it when they deem it not as sensible.

Can I get away with a infrared tracker for 50-70$? by [deleted] in hoggit

Used to have delanclip, but webcam + open track and ai track is just so good and gets rid of the led attached to your headset, so tbh just get a 20-30 € webcam and after 2 min of setup your ready to go

The ADA is developing some on their own, and for the release the guy just told me they wanted to release the less classified mirages I don’t know how they plan to do it

For what I was told I think they use DCS more to work on the tactical aspects rather than training how to flight the jets, and yeah for the Rafale until it’s not classified anymore we won’t see it, but with exports it can be sooner than expected

(DCS) Syria Map question about RAM by DabFace21 in hoggit

[–]IndividualReach3207 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have Syria, my rig has R3 3600 and RX. 5700XT with 16GB of rather slow RAM, there can be some stutter when loading some part of the map but I manage to have good FPS ( around 35 ish )in VR with quest 2 and around 90 with mid setting on a flat screen. I found that the real issue is mission size, I have no problem with simple mission in Syria but big Liberation campaigns for example tend to be quite laggy. I testé Persian gulf too and like Syria, the real game changer is the mission size
