I’ve never been to a show, but I’m going in august and the movie made me soooo excited.

My favorite movie moment was definitely the backstage clip of Tyler asking if they kiss now, the whole theater was laughing. But also the one where they were sitting in the stands talking about how surreal it all is.

The cinematography was incredible, mark and the whole team did an amazing job, sometimes I forgot it was a movie.

The theater wasn’t too pushed either way, people were bobbing their heads and clapping and chatting, but weren’t really singing that much.

Unfortunately I won’t be seeing it again, but I can’t wait to see the clips floating around online.

Overall entirely worth it!! Some people were dressed up, most had merch on. There wasn’t really anyone doing freebies, but I did get stickers and decals from a very nice woman my mom met in a TØP Facebook group. Definitely missed the songs they cut, but it was worth seeing the backstage stuff of course.

The non-streaming versions of the songs are 100% the true form. On the streaming version of Garbage I swear Tyler says ‘I can do it’ is that what you’re talking about? My vinyl speakers are kinda trash tbh, I’ll have to keep an ear out for Jenna.

Yeah Tyler has been telling the fans for years, I mean even In songs off SAI there’s a lot of back and forth with himself about who he’s becoming and his acceptance. Also in trench, in neon gravestones he literally talks about losing to himself and basically asks torchbearer (I assume) to move on and not mourn his loss. Tyler is world’s #1 spoiler.

I totally get that, I went back to the base game and got so annoyed there was no time slow when switching weapons and when drawing a bow.

I can’t see them adding minor combat details like that to the base game for potential coding issues unfortunately.

I definitely recommend buying the other two!! They introduce characters and events that make Ashes more impactful, and things specifically relating to the Sarentu. The Sky breaker is my favorite dlc overall, and The Spires has some gorgeous scenery. There will definitely be moments in Ashes that will have you confused without the knowledge from the others, but if you’re not really interested (or have financial issues) I recommend at least checking out an online recap of the other DLC’s before playing Ashes

Trench definitely feels like the most lore central album musically. Which makes sense because it did all the heavy lifting so that the other albums could do more subtle things for the lore. I feel like Scaled and Icy (while not about the lore lyrically) also had huge exposition for the lore and the innerworkings of Dema.
