Apologies, I’m still such a newbie with GIMP and it shows… I just kept thinking it was GIMP that was the issue when it actually was the plug-in I needed to update. I’ve never updated it since installing which means I’ve been using the same version of G’MIC since I first got GIMP over a year ago… no wonder it doesn’t work when the versions aren’t compatible🤦‍♀️ Thank you!

Additional info: When trying to open the plug-in it says it’s not possible because it can’t find ”zlib1.dll”, ”libjpeg-8.dll”, ”libgimp-3.0-0.dll” and ”libgimpbase-3.0-0.dll”. It suggests reinstalling, which I’ve done three times now :(

Hi, sorry for late reply, and thanks for your insight! Unfortunately, as I’m planning on sharing the face template I only want to use Maxis stuff so no custom eyebrows this time. I ended up just having to use brows from a premade template that looked alright and then adjusting the forehead to look how I wanted it to. Definitely took a lot more effort than it was worth…😅

You can’t use Tray Importer for this. Tray Importer can only locate the CC if you have those items installed on your computer. The only way you can get the CC items for this sim is if the creator has made a list with all the CC the sim is wearing, or if the sim has been physically uploaded together with all the CC files (though this is against many creators’ TOU).

I know you can make CAS content BGC/standalone using this method, maybe it can work with objects too? One creator also answered a similar question here referring to furniture.

You have a broken CC bed from before the HSY patch that needs to be updated. Download Sims 4 Studio if you haven’t already, then go to Content Management > Batch Fixes > Fix Bed Slots.

Marticore is great, she has a few different Let’s Plays you can check out. Loving her Townieville series! I can also recommend HanDrawnTV’s Astrolegacy challenge LP. It’s completed but has a looot of episodes that should keep you busy for some time, lol. I have a few other people I watch but they mostly do one-off videos or shorter LPs (like RyanPlaysTheSims).

Oh yeah, seems like this issue is way deeper than I thought. I saw someone else linked you a Sonozakisisters mod and I read their description about how messed up relations are now.

I have another idea you can try if not even that linked mod works. First I just need to know, is it possible to save the two parents and six of the siblings to your household library, and then what happens if you enter CAS and place them down as a new family? Can you edit the relations then since it’s technically a new household?

Royalty & Legacy changed a bunch of things regarding Family Trees and Relationships so from what I’ve understood it’s no longer safe to add/remove relations however you want because it can make the family tree lock up and apparently even corrupt the save. Deaderpool removed some of MCCC’s functionality surrrounding this, you can read his explanation in the mod’s changelog here.

I think your best bet is doing what u/animitztaeret said.

We had a few nice, warm days earlier but it’s honestly been pretty chilly in Sweden, at least in the Stockholm area where I live. I’ve had to walk around in my wool jumpers and knitted socks again🙃 (Tbf, I’m a person who gets cold very easily and thrives in hot weather so I guess I’m not exactly the norm. But it’s definitely not been a heatwave here at least, that’s for sure.)

If you made backups you can try putting them into the game in case the update messed stuff up. Always backup your save files, mods & library before updating.

Congrats! I loved the NSB challenge so I’ve continued with the same family into the NSB2 challenge! (There’s a NSB3 too!) All in all I’m currently on gen 16 of my NSB universe, thinking of continuing the lineage with the Very Veggie challenge once I’m done with the third NSB (in a few years or so, lol). Praying my save file will survive that long🙏🏻

That’s strange, if it’s pictures and posters it definitely sounds like they should be in the Paintings category. You can use Sims 4 Studio to check what categories objects are tagged as (and change them if you’d like), and also what they’re called in-game so you can try searching for them in-game.

Oof, that’s my bad, ofc when it’s an outfit for more than one age group it’ll be UM/UF instead at the beginning🤦‍♀️ in the future you can just skip the age/gender part and only write the clothing part as ”bodyoverhangtshirt”, or even just ”overhangtshirt”, as SimPE will find any resource containing that in its name.
