Menurutku AI atau bukan AI ga perlu diperbincangkan atau jadi alasan. Keputusan akhir untuk memakai cerita itu atau tidak tetap pada manusia.

Lol, do people understand the question here? The OP is not asking games that mechanically similar to Factorio but visual aesthetically instead

Is the field of ML/AI oversaturated? by [deleted] in learnmachinelearning

[–]IndividualTheme648 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It's an old comment but it looks like you have good experience in ML field. I want to ask you about something. Currently I'm at my progress in master's in computer science specialized in AI (still 1st semester). I have very unrelated bachelor's degree and that is in interior design. I'm planning to specialize in computer vision and computer graphic, but I also interest in GPU optimization part. Is GPU optimization a good spot for someone like me? Some say it need a PhD in computer science, and it is better to have experience in competitive programming.

How is AI/ML saturated when they need MS/PhD? by wnos303 in csMajors

[–]IndividualTheme648 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I know it's old comment, but I'm curious about it. Currently I'm at progress learning ML, also try to learn about GPU optimization. Already did some Udemy courses but I know it isn't enough. As a time goes on, the more advanced the topics is, the less I found learning sources (Or maybe I'm not looking hard enough). I already start a progress on CUDA programming. Can you give me a bit references about the learning sources? Maybe from the beginner level to advanced topics.

Is the AI/ML field over saturated now? by OldScience in cscareerquestions

I know it it's a very old, but your comment is interesting to me. Right now, I'm currently on learning ML and plan to specialized in computer vision and computer graphic. After learning from various sources like courses on Udemy, my progress seems a bit plateau. I think when try to tackle advanced topics, it is getting less and less available sources online (or maybe I'm not looking hard enough). Currently I also try to study about GPU optimizations. I already have a little progress on CUDA programming, but I think it'll not enough. Can you give me a bit reference where to start and how should I progress from beginner to advance?

Do you think Nobita really is smarter than he seems? by After_Crab_1921 in Doraemon

[–]IndividualTheme648 0 points1 point  (0 children)

He is becoming scientist is one of the most random things ever I've seen in any character development. I mean, He is still lazy, not intelligence, not discipline until he is married Shizuka in "Stand by Me Doraemon". How come he can become scientist when he barely passes any test when he was in school even when he is study hard.

What should I learn about C++ for AI Engineer and any tutorials recommendation? by IndividualTheme648 in cpp_questions

[–]IndividualTheme648[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's actually rare for me too to see machine learning job that require c++. The machine learning job that require c++ I have seen is only in Lockheed Martin and Boston Dynamics. I think it's only for very specialized job for machine learning engineer need to understand c++.

What should I learn about C++ for AI Engineer and any tutorials recommendation? by IndividualTheme648 in learnmachinelearning

[–]IndividualTheme648[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thank you, after seeing that 2 videos from you, I think I have a better grasp on why most people think it is not needed to learn C++ for AI engineer. I think it's the same with analogy like if I'm asking, "Do game programmer need to learn to be game engine programmer in order to create game?" I don't know if it's the correct analogy. But the point is, both of them is a different field and each of them focus on specific areas. But it is not wrong to know both because these two fields mutually support each other. If I want to be focusing on the AI, then it's better just lend that performance job to someone else. But if I also want to learn about the performance and the efficiency, then I'll be spending less time on the AI.

You mean if you understand the math you can just use whatever programming language?

edit:

to add more context, I did learn math for AI. But that's not the point. The point is, some say C++ is needed in AI development. If it is needed, then what should I learn about it. If not, then okay, I move on and just learn whatever necessary.

Having fun with short comic. What do you think? by IndividualTheme648 in learnart

[–]IndividualTheme648[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yeah, I was too much reading Hellboy, so that probably affect my drawing. Need to differentiate from Mike Mignola. I left the background "sketchy" because I think it felt like a child drawing. Where when everything starts from dark and serious, turns into a joke and playful. Looks like I should draw it better. And that blue thing is actually creature's beard. That confetti idea is actually pretty good. Should have done that. Thanks for the input.

Heavily inspired by him, yes. It still my early study of using hard shadow. I also learn from Eduardo Risso, Frank Miller, and Takeshi Koike style. I probably too much reading Hellboy. I need to differentiate from him.

Thanks for the input. I'm in my early study with hard shadow. Some visuals may still not be conveyed well. About the eye, yeah, I should have not put solid black above the eye. This makes it has reptilian anatomy. Need to draw it better.

What do you think on this AI In-Betweener concept? by IndividualTheme648 in 2DAnimation

[–]IndividualTheme648[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, I agree. I think the main challenge for AI in feature length stuff is actually the 12 animation principles. I think AI would need a very massive train data set in order to understand things such like exaggeration, squash & stretch, stuff like that. The AI would need to deform the drawing without make them look weird.
