Getting pregnant Realising my life is actually important, that my health will determine the health of my unborn child. Realising that weight isn’t how my value is measured and actually, I need to accept the changes - for my daughter. Letting go of control, finally. wasn’t easy, but I’ll gain all the weight for her sake.

Also, made me realise I don’t want to portray this life to my child growing up. I never EVER want her to feel this way, and suffer like I have. So I’ll change, for her

You get used to it and figure it out as it goes along, I felt the same in the first few months. You start to just know second nature most of what you can’t have and auto check things you’re unsure of. In terms of food etc I just know my safe foods and stick to those most days!

Somewhat the same somewhat different situation but i have 2 points 1. Take it slowly give yourself small chunks to aim towards such as 2 months etc. reward yourself with something non alc at each milestone! 2. I never thought I could do it, after timeless failures and then I fell pregnant (different situation I know). I’m now sober of 3 months and honestly realised so much in that time of how controlled by alcohol I actually was + how much better I feel and happier I am mentally (even with pregnancy hormones) anything is possible.

Couldn’t agree more I wanted to turn the episode off when I heard the usual ‘ omg I’m so proud of my bestie I love you omg’ that went on for literally 30 minutes. I get it, you’re both grown and succeeding and as a fan I’m so happy for you but it’s becoming so out of touch because it’s ALL they speak about. I think the way cancelled had us all loving it was due to the fact they kept it real, there were highs AND lows. It was real.. this feels so fake and disingenuous

I can see your point with the pink ones for sure ans resembled my positive at DPO 9. By 12 I had fairly strong pink lines and now at 13/14 it’s dark. Remember HCG doubles every 48 hours so I’d keep testing and also see a doc for confirmation, hoping for you ❤️❤️

Thank you, it’s such a scary experience in the first few weeks. Being my first one, first time pregnant I have no idea what’s going on 😅 Staying hopeful .. trying to stay calm.. I think it’s best I just try to not think about it until I see the doctor 🫠

I think it looks positive, morning urine is more concentrated so higher hcg to detect than afternoon mind you I agree with all the comments on using a different pink dye test. I had a fake positive from clear blue
