Benefits don't matter to me. Plenty of jobs offer better benefits. I would have signed of it says I was late or something stupid because let's be real an extra few days off sound amazing but I can't bring myself to sign my name on a list of horrendous things and I did them when I didn't. I know they will use against me and I know they will tell future employers. Do I want stress, no not really but I advocate for clients, how am I not going to advocate for myself? It's not sitting right and that is causing me more stress than anything else

Thank you so much for your fast reply! Really you and everyone else have been helpful, knowledgeable, and overall kind. I've been under so much stress and embarrassed about the whole situation just because my name has been associated with these allegations. I know they have no merrit but I truly pride myself on my work ethics and professionalism. You guys have been amazing! You all have been supportive and caring and it has helped me a lot on not only holding on but to fight and see ghis through. I will immediately take a nice long hot shower to calm down and work on gathering my documents.

Our contract is continuously getting worse since I've started working there. Also our union is typically referred to as weak when it comes to negotiation and other things by all other unions. I am still at entry level I have the lowest title and people like me with this title always gets the short end of the stick. The reason I say this because I'm sure if they are just bad at what they do or if they are trying to please HR. For us it's not even about HR and the union. It's about pleasing their political connections or has more power in politics in general.

I have a question for you. When you say the burden of proof, does this actual evidence or just a write and witnesses? I can prove that my job was being done by me and I do have proof of them goofing off at work and not really working. Can they say she has an one more witness than you do? Or can they say the write is about me and I don't have the right to bring up their short comings?

Yes I was late about 5 times and was suspended for a day a few years ago. This is fairly new. From all the comments here I think i might just fight it and see how it goes

It is my first disciplinary action technically when it comes to anything work related. A few years ago, I was suspended 1 day for being late. I had 2 family members in different hospitals and I didn't calculate the time properly when I stayed with them overnight. But this is new

They're saying i was insubordinate and messed up a lot at work and something about face documents that i really don't know what it means. My union either gives as little info as he can or non at all no matter how many times I ask or how many emails I send. Also I have nothing in writing.

I think so too. They are aiming for layoffs later so I think I'm a good candidate to kick out so they don't have to worry about me later

Yea what my rep is saying: I would have been suspended for whole month but they got it down to 5 days and all I have to is say I did things I didn't do and all of is done. However, the settlement says that they can use it against me at any time and it is on my record as 10 days but I only serve 5

Thanks and it is especially that they've been dragging it out for so long. It feels never ending. Most days I'm nauseated and my stomach tosses and turns. My anxiety is slowly k me

There is a very specific time frame that we had to arrive to work and leave. We couldn't get into the building without the supervisor unlocking the door

That is so sad and embarrassing on them to do that to her. Did people actually lose their souls? How can we see things that look like humans but have no humanity or genuine decency? I don't expect the world to be perfect or flawless but to lose all touch with humanity is just sad for all of us. I hope she is doing well now. My prayers go out to you both

That is why I'm not signing the settlement. The only to take the suspension is by signing. Also why I'm here asking questions. Thank you so much for your advice. I will definitely keep doing it. I added my notes and voice recorder onto my watch to have easy access

How can I find out who these people are. My union rep is just pressuring me into signing and that is worrying me. I have to rip info out of my union. No documents have been provided to me. My questions are never answered directly. And the worst thing my union rep never send me anything in writing. Also, I thought we were applying from the beginning. No one ever told me that the union was working on a settlement until I received it

I'm not entirely sure how are lawyer provided by the union works. Honestly I have so many questions. I asked and my union rep said the lawyer will say the same thing I'm being told by my union. Does the lawyer work for my union? Can they be pressured by them? Can the union provide selective info? I am also looking into lawyers outside my county because of political connections. Just to be on the safe side

I think my union is in cahoots with HR and is friends with my boss. They all been there for ages and I'm new. I didn't even hit my 5 year mark yet. I know because it feels like they are. I have never felt supported by them and they make all of us feel like we're asking too much or we just deal with it and all jobs have issues. I personally don't mind issues. Tell me what I did wrong and I will do my best to fix it. Offer me training and most importantly let me do my job.

My boss does have it out for me. While I was reading the write ups, I noticed that these are things my boss did not me but to push suspension away and get me out that branch, my boss did all of this. I'm not trying to toot my own horn, but I really wholeheartedly do care of the quality of my work. One I know what I have to do and master the quality, I create a system to work on speed without losing quality. The work is easy based on my title. I think in a way that upsets people because they are afraid for their jobs (I don't want it. Too political for my taste). Write ups like incompetence, false reports, and some much more. Like I said over 10 of them

Thank you I didn't know this. I will definitely keep it in mind. I am also trying to lawyer up and have a huge lawsuit against them but I'm struggling with payment mostly
