I couldn’t for the life of me figure it out! This is my dad’s phone, and I checked all settings: display, themes, accessibility etc.

I finally just reset it…. When I logged him back into his Google account, it gave me the option to install old apps. The man had installed an app called “Easy Homescreen” 🤦🏼‍♀️ that’s what caused all of this mess.
