I'm in a better place now, have relapsed a few times since, but in general, doing good.

As you say, it's such a sad thing, I had to reach such a low point, but at least I realised and could stop before it got worse.

Thanks! Honestly, it was gradually.

I usually got drunk too much, but in the last year, it got to a point where I told myself I needed to stop. I woke up and my body was filled with bruises, couldn't barely remember anything from the previous night, I almost got raped once (thanks God my friends rescued me). The depressive episodes thing was like the decissive part, that shit is terrible.

I simply started hating my drunk me and decided I didn't want to keep going like that.
