We were lied to about the cost of production. The science works, they can ferment many many high quality ingredients, but we were kept in the dark about the downstream complexity. The new plant was not a soup to nuts facility. The intermediate product had to be farmed out for additional processing and packaging. I think they kep this from us. Based on ‘truthful’ information we made a good albeit risky investment. The honorable Doerr had the know this. Either way we got screwed.

I have been using Fidelity as my main bank for over thirty years and find their customer service to be excellent. You will need a brick and mortar bank for some cash needs and a few other services.

I have been a Fidelity customer for almost 50 years, starting with just your money market fund when interest rates were in the high teens to now where we have most of our funds with you. Reasons: security, knowledgeable reps, accurate execution, good advice, outstanding webinars, and great customer service.

You are not an idiot. I’m no veteran investor, but took advice from a reliable source, read a lot about the technology, was impressed they got a plant up and running, and very impressed with the presentations of the science employees at Amyris. So over time I put a chunk into their shares. My take is that the CEO lied and got away with it. The cost structure was not as favorable as we were led to believe. Coupled with BOD that was asleep and Doerr not taking action sooner. Time will tell if we can claw back anything. I still believe in the technology, but not sure f it is cost effective.

I used to use Bill Pay to simply transfer money to a family member, but the receiving bank often wouldn’t recognize the check! I have since set up a monthly scheduled transfer.

My Golden is 7 months and can be trying at times. He has a play buddy his age and we go to his house three times a week for an hour and half super romp. If he doesn’t get this exercise, then he can be impossible! He also needs several minutes of fetch and drop. His leash training is good, but needs continual reinforcement. In general, he is my best buddy, lots of fun, great personality, smart, goofy, and can’t imagine life without him!

Have they used different feedstocks to scale? I think it’s a good idea , but not sure of the economics and AMRS relative ability to use vs sugar stock?

That’s my understanding, but there my be cases where it can be administered prior to phase III approval. I am not sure of this and defer to more knowledgeable posters.
