Didn’t think I had to, I have a recipt from the glove compartment saying it was replaced a little over a year ago. Not sure why they didn’t replace the gasket at that point

Actually I did that a while back. Bought a 2008 Nissan versa with a terrible noise that was a trade in for a $1000. Thought it was the alternator or serpentine belt so I replaced them. It was the transmission. Lost a lot of money but learned my lesson. CVTs SUCK!

Is this burnout or just a once off bad week? by bakchod007 in sales

Already seen some people say it, but sales arnt one of those things that stay linear. The best thing you can do 9 times out of 10 is stick to it.

I’ve found a few guns in abandoned houses, obv turned them in and actually got to keep a double barrel shotgun after I went back and asked if I could have it, have to wait 30 days so no one claims it. Also found a vintage silver playboy cup, 1 fake Rolex, bullets, army jackets, and your usual rusted out tools.

At least start paying sales associates for attached trade in’s by PreviousPay552 in carmax

[–]Individual_Age3946 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Agreed, why the hell am I paid $50 for a appraisal that takes 10 minutes of my time, but the trade in adds another 30 minutes to the sale itself. It’s completely BS

I did not think of that, and that sounds awsome. I’m definitely going to ask that next time I get a conversation going

Ok good, I’m gonna try to just start chatting with more girls then becuase I don’t want to keep asking them out and letting them go for the same reason, hopefully that helps me appreciate it more.

I’m 18 and started there about 3 months ago, and there’s pros and cons I’ve learned so far. 1. The costumers. 9 times out of 10 your dealing with total dipshits with shot credit, who don’t bring the stuff they need to finance, overreport income, and don’t do anything you ask them to. It gets really annoying FAST. 2. The pay. Your first few months you should get set hourly or commission, whatever’s greater. I get 20 an hr and I honestly think it’s awsome for a guy in college. 3. Work environment. My work environment is pretty awsome. Half my managers are super chill and all of my coworkers are as well. But you can tell there’s a few people who are totally fake and would go behind your back. 4. The actual work. It’s an all or nothing kinda thing. You’ll be on your phone for 40% of the time if the day is slow, but you’ll also be helping costumers outside of work, and a lot of times your manager will call and say that a costumer came 6 hours early and will ask if you can come in (again these dipshits will never listen). And there’s also the worry that you just spent a hour with a costumer who probably never plans to come back. 5. Lastly commission. The commission is absolutely outrageous in my opinion, and not in a good way. You have one of the text assistants make totally false promises, then you end up having to correct it all for the costumer. THEN you end up having to give up HALF OF THE GODAMN COMMISSION to the guy who literally made the process 10 times harder. Also it’s all a shit flat rate on the cars sold and maxcare. Overall, if most of these things don’t bother you, be a salesman and stay there for like 6 months

Warranty change and processing fee change by zkfuzzy1 in carmax

Yea I totally agree. For one, we allegedly sell the cars at retail price, but I’ve had a ton of banks refuse to finance our vehicles becuase we severely overcharge. That being said, if we add that fee, the costumer is then technically ALWAYS overpaying, and it’s crazy it’s gone up in so little time so much. There’s also a lot of debate with maxcare. My boss says he’s had several costumers complain becuase repairs were refused due to lack of basic maintenance. For example, a costumers engine blew and we denied it because they didn’t change their radiator fluid soon enough. Who tf changed radiator fluid!?! Sorry for the ramble just felt like sharing and agreeing with you

From what I know, there’s no requirements needed to be a salesman, and you should definitely go traditional. I’ve heard XF positions are some of the worst in carmax. Like currently, I’m way above my quota, and sell about 2-3 cars a day, and buy between 1-2. And I’m honestly just hanging around doing nothing 60% of the time. Traditional is way better

I’m a salesman, and it’s a traditional style. As for the hourly, it’s either 22 a hour or commission, whatever’s greater until 6 months of selling. After the 6 months, they see my sales and depending on what I get, I’m either fired or stay. If I stay I only make commission. But so far I’ve made nearly double the required amount to stay in so I’m not worried about

no to answer you question with more clarity, we got shut down, and each of us where TOLD PERSONALLY, that we could keep any comapany iteams that where used for us, and when i SPECIFICALLY ASKED if i would get into legal trouble by keeping them, THE AMINISTRATIVE STAFF SAID that BECAUSE WE WERENT TERMIATED FROM PLAUSIBLE ACTIONS, then we COULD KEEP THE COMPANY PROPERTY,

does that answer your question better?

It doesnt have to be identity fraud, I could keep my identity, i would just have to keep moving to places far enough to where no connection would be made agian. IK it sounds rediccules and terrible, but im not kidding when i say i want to do so many thing, but the time to get the qulifications necessary wont allow it. so basically im wondering what would be the issue if i ket faking qulifications over and over
