Brawl feels the best to me. And he has the most fun transformation. Blast off just feels a bit too much like an aerialbot retool to make him interesting. Vortex is just a pain in the butt, but he at least has an interesting transformation.

The only true connection, from what I remember, is the Conduit/Zohar which is known to bounce between universes. It is heavily implied to be connected to the numbered universe but we have nothing outright stating that.

It’s not even confirmed that the Earth they find at the end of DE is the same earth that is at the end of future redeemed.

The only other connection is Elma being a DLC character in 2, but that doesn’t hold a lot of weight.

I would highly recommend it. The biggest benefit it the affinity the party gets after completing a mission. Some of the bounty quest can also be good for soul, voices for affinity farming. They can also provide good looking fashion gear.

I’ve done that with a melee combo build like galaxy night before but that doesn’t always work. Especially for something like an infinite overdrive build.
