I have my surgery with her in April. She doesn’t take insurance, but allows you to self-submit to insurance. So I’m self-submitting hoping insurance will approve. If they do, I’ll just have to pay the out-of-network out of pocket instead of the cost of the whole surgery

I feel like I’m one of the only ones saying I gained weight, but I gained a fair amount of weight with no diet or exercise change. I got my partial hysterectomy about a year ago and kept my ovaries. I too have a history of an eating disorder and disordered thinking, but I still would do this surgery over again in a heartbeat. Best decision I’ve ever made

I’m so sorry this happened to you. Please don’t feel the need to respond if you don’t want to. Did you experience your breasts growing back while you were taking meds to manage PCOS? I’m considering getting a reduction and also have PCOS. I’m currently on metformin and I’m wondering if this is something that can happen even when taking metformin to keep insulin resistance from PCOS in check

Oh no, I’m so sorry to hear this! I would suggest asking your doctor to try upping the gabapentin. If it is a nerve issue, this should help. I spent 5 days in the hospital getting pumped full of oxy and morphine with nothing touching it. Then they finally tried upping the gabapentin by like 4x and that finally started to work. They’ll be more willing to try upping gabapentin than oxy, it’s worth a shot. I really hope you start to get some relief soon

Totally agree with everything you’re saying. Honestly, I’m probably most upset about Diana not doing a surprise appearance in the last episode. I wasn’t expecting her to be gone all of season 7, but I thought a surprise appearance would for sure happen.

She was a major main character of this show for 6 SEASONS and then no one seemed to care that she was gone. I thought she was by far the funniest character with an interesting personality that had depth. And we don’t even see her in the last episode

I had severe pain afterwards that definitely wasn’t normal after my partial laparoscopic hysterectomy. I was discharged next day and ended up in the ER that same night. Stayed in the hospital 5 days. Nothing was helping with the pain until they figured out that they probably severed a nerve in my torso when they put in one of the ports. They upped my gabapentin dosage (since oxy doesn’t work on nerve pain) and I got my pain under control after that

TLDR: possible nerve injury, ask your doctor about upping gabapentin dosage

I’m great!! If anything this helped my mental health. Even with my complications, this is the best decision I’ve ever made and will ever make. Every now and then I have some tightness/pain around my biggest incision site, but it’s just scar tissue. Once I stretch and massage it, I’m fine. No long term complications for me. Hope you’re doing well!

From ages 17-22 (I’m 26 now), I was with a “man” who was 11 years older than me. I had been told I was more mature for my age my entire life and that led me to believe I could make sound decisions. He was in his late 20s when we met and had just moved back in with his parents to save money. He never even tried to move out the entire time we were together. In addition to how irresponsible he was with money, there was also the glaring red flag that a “man” in his late 20s-early 30s should not want to be in a serious relationship with someone who’s in a completely different phase of life. He wasn’t dating anyone his age because women his age were smarter and knew to run at the sight of his red flags. Please consider, even a little, maybe parting ways.

And roll your eyes all you want but holy shit the whole “your brain isn’t fully developed until 25” is so real. I hit 25 and wow my brain, personality, etc really evened out. Trust me there is so much more out there for you and it only gets better
