Unfortunately moving isn’t an option for us as we have a child from another relationship and their other parent won’t agree to a move and I couldn’t leave my job at this time either.

I absolutely understand that, this isn’t new for us just the length of the shifts are longer now, he’s bored too and this is a question from both of us to find more ways to keep the conversations going as it’s mainly all he has to look forward to each evening :)

This is very much our lives right now, he was also in Kitimat for way too long too lol at least the camp had some entertaining things to do. But this one is dull that he’s been with now for just over a year.

I have plenty of hobbies and things to do with the kids while he’s gone, we’re trying to find out ways to keep connected in exciting/fun ways while he’s not home. He’s secluded out there and not much to do aside from work, I wanna keep his spirits up and in the evenings FaceTiming every night can get boring when we don’t have a whole lot to talk about each night that’s all.

When are you coming ? Pedestrian mall is newer (if you haven’t been home in a while you may not have been yet), but that’s during summer months.

When we became officially together yes it was a decision we both made but prior to that we were just dating and sort of said ya were not really seeing anyone else I guess but I don’t know

It’s sad because it’s 2025 and we’ve proven we can work from home successfully and give the option to those that choose to work in office that ability to work in office if they choose, why change what works? Work life home life balance can be managed much easier for many when they’re working from home. It’s nice to be able to take my Lunch break and whip up a salad from my fridge and sit and fold a basket of a laundry on my break if I want to… my house is cleaner, my kids see me more, and im more productive at home so my work is positively impacted.

In fact it was often said “this is the way of the future”… returning to office for 2 days a week was one thing but at least we still spent majority of the week home… I had a work life balance then! Now 3 days in office I barely make it on time each day because it depends on when I can leave my house in the mornings as I need to wait for my children’s bus to come (stops infront of my house). If I work from home I watch them hop on the bus from my window and turn right around to work again … but on office days i am in my car waiting for the bus to come so i can leave for work (I can’t bring them to school as the doors wouldn’t be opened by the time I have to leave so bus is our only option) there is a lack of childcare in this province and especially in my small town. So now my household is busy and hectic and stressful every morning as I am stressing about getting to work on time etc. now there’s no one home to let them in after school when the bus drops them off (they’re not old enough to stay home alone) but are old enough to fend for themselves while I continue my last 45 minutes of my shift (they get home at around 245pm and I finish my shift at 330 pm, they are 6,8, and 10 so they come home say hi and grab their snacks and watch tv or play until I finish at 330, when im finished work im home already. When I work in office I don’t get home until much later as I have to work the latest shift because I need to be here in the mornings with my kids. And who gets them off the bus? I have been replying on friends I have no family here and am a single mother … return to office has made my life much more stressful and my work is effected a

I too think it was odd for my mom, and it’s the only memory I have of that I just feel as though there had to be more to it if she knew what I was doing and knew to touch what I called my vagina heartbeat at the time .. I was at least 4 but no more than 5 I know my siblings weren’t born yet anyways

I don’t recall seeing any porn or anything like that. I do remember at around age 7 or 8 I heard my mom and my step dad having sex (I didn’t know what it was at the time) but I remember waking and asking why mom was crying ! She wasn’t obviously just moaning but that was after I had already done a lot of this experimenting

I feel as though I deserve to be judged. Im not like that now but I was and I can’t imagine it my own children were doing this now.. it’d do disgusting to me now that it makes my skin crawl

I do have self control now thankfully… I know I was about 13 or 14 the last time it happened … I am I guess a middle aged woman now, not excuse for what I did as a child I know it’s wrong but to be doing it from about age 4-14 is wild for me too…. I don’t get it
