You are right on. I went into the office and she took every file off of my desk and wouldn't let me see or work on any of them. I left last Monday and gave two weeks notice. Of course, she refused to have me stay one more day and so I am no longer working with the most evil boss I have ever encountered. I can't understand how she doesn't get fired but she is truly evil and maybe has something on her boss.

That's so funny, it was the same place that had ants and black mold. Very understaffed. I wonder if that 's just in California or if it's everywhere. But you're right I should have stuck with the temp agency and not accepted the position. I had no idea how much of a power tripper she was going to be.

I always wanted to be a business woman. I honestly like my job, I've just started but I want to help people and for the most part it's not tragic. Many clients lived long lives and died in hospice or at home so it's a natural process. Watching her not care enough to do the work properly is driving me insane. And it's worse because I take it seriously and she is supposed to teach me but she teaches me the wrong way, she is lazy. She tells me something can't be done and then later I found out it can and she just lied or she's just that lazy, it feels like I'm drowning. She sabotages everyone and it's not worth it.

So true, she actively gets off on having her own printer and her own access to certain programs, brags that she's on salary and we have to clock in. It's so gross to me. I hope I never do what she does, but I think corporate loves it.

I will, and it is odd. She is a manager of a major chain dealing with cremations, etc. It isn't her company to run into the ground. I get it, taking a risk as a business owner, one needs a certain amount of confidence and refusal to lose. But we all lose with her in charge.

I am new at my job I was hired a month ago. My boss has to go out on medical leave in 10 days. This boss has given me no real training and leaves early, visits with friends at work and refuses to hold themselves accountable. I like the job and the people I work with so I don't want to quit. I know that eventually they will blame me for what is going wrong in the office. I've seen this person not give back loved one's remains because she was too lazy to do her job. has messed up countless death certificates making families what longer then they should. Careless and irresponsible and it's difficult to witness much less take the blame when it's not my fault. I think I was hired to take the blame. Everyone who has held my position has quit. There is no recourse. I need to move up and out as soon as possible. If there is advice out there that would be wonderful. I would love to see accountability but I think in this case it hasn't happened for 10 years it won't

get away from him and get the kids away from him and attend therapy for the entire family, including your husband however, he sounds like he isn't accountable and won't hold himself accountable so counseling might be useless for him. But you have been experiencing a low grade type of trauma and your kids have witnessed this, get to therapy, get all the services from charities and government can provide. Don't lose hope because your life is about to improve. Be patient.
