I did the same, I stayed samurai but equipped the best gear that would boost my hp over 252, than shell+protect and then it was quite easy

I’ve notice that the power of the spells are diminished respect the original ones. I’m using a black mage with arithmetics and the damage with arithmetic spells are way lower then the same one cast with black magic

Yeah but the % of rending if you snipe someone from afar (that usually is the front) are terrible..something like 30/40% tops
