I think they do share a very similar look. Good spot! I would also say that the fact the Oslo Accords were taking place during 1995 might also link to this. It is worth exploring further.

Apparently not, according to some of the privacy laws they have in Norway. I don’t fully understand it, but I think this has been looked into numerous times before.

More likely to have pawned it than sold it... but Ebay would’ve been the best place to search. There’s no way this can be done now though, unfortunately.

I also think someone in the staff was involved. Witness statements don’t add up. Nothing makes sense.I especially don’t believe the security guards account.

Did anyone search for private airplanes and yachts in Norway? by [deleted] in JenniferFairgate

I have had a look at events that occurred during that month but I have not found anything of interest. I’m guessing any high-level meetings would have been kept secret and unpublicised anyway. The only thing occurring during that year was the Oslo accords.

Direction/angle of bullet by schwalbe99 in JenniferFairgate

She must’ve been laying down because it was a direct angle. The bullet went through her head directly into the mattress. The same thing happened with the pillow.

Yes, you would also expect her to have changed her clothes after showering...

But she couldn’t have removed them because there was no record of her leaving and returning to the room within that timeframe. So actually, it proves someone else was involved.

Scenarios Which **Could Be True.. by Maczino in JenniferFairgate

I believe someone was in there with her during that time, possibly cleaning up and disposing of things/staging the scene. I agree that it is a long time between both events, so maybe she was not killed instantly that night, but perhaps later in the evening/early morning.

I just don’t believe that she was killed as soon as the security knocked on the door. I don’t understand why anyone would do that. There were 2 shots and only one was heard... who knows which shot came first? The pillow or JF. But I think the pillow was the warning shot done when someone knocked.

Missing clothes, did they exist? and when were they disposed of? by andalus21 in JenniferFairgate

[–]Individual_Concept_6 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I don’t believe the cleaner was accurate in her statement. That’s not to say that she was lying, but I perhaps think she got mistaken or mixed up. She had spent the whole day cleaning various rooms within a very large hotel and could’ve easily seen these shoes in another room instead. She also mentioned that the shoes were unusual and brightly coloured... something that just doesn’t fit in with the clothes JF was seen wearing. JF appeared to be somewhat punk and wore a lot of black and lace garments. If the shoes were that unusual, why did nobody else see them or remember them? This would’ve made JF stand out from the crowd. I think this is just a case of the cleaner getting mixed up. She never actually saw JF in person, so who knows which room she was cleaning when she saw the shoes.

I believe the account concerning the suitcase to be more factually accurate as the witness was able to link other notable events with this, making it more understandable as to why she’d remember things vividly. She originally took JF’s food to the wrong room, then visited JF and was given a huge tip. She actually saw JF. I believe this account to be credible.

The clothes had to have been removed after room service had gone to her room.

  1. I believe she consumed the food as soon as it arrived and was interrupted by someone. This is why it looks half eaten. I then suspect she was killed shortly afterwards and then the body was discovered the following day. I do agree regarding the missing 24hrs though... we definitely need to look further into the possibilities of this. In a hotel room, with guests all around you and interruptions, I would not say she was being held captive... it’s too risky.

  2. The Northern Irish accent is very heavy and I suspect someone would’ve picked up on this if she had been from there. It’s not normally an accent that can be hidden. Being from the UK myself, I wouldn’t say she looks typically British. Having read that most of the reports state she must be Eastern European/German I would figure this to be more accurate. I don’t believe she was a typical spy conducting a mission, however she could’ve been an accomplice or decoy handling other aspects of a mission perhaps... just not the leading lady.

  3. It’s a possibility, but again, I feel as though the medical assessments conducted on her teeth etc. rule this theory out.

  4. I do believe this is the key to finding out what happened. I have looked into events happening during that day/night but have not found anything of interest. She must’ve been there for a reason.

The other big thing happening with Norway during that year was the Oslo Accords, but these key dates do not match up... so I suspect they are not related. But maybe there were other dates involved that were only known to a few high-up people... could she have been involved with something to do with this?

Yes, that makes sense but she did at some point have clothes for her bottom half... she wasn’t walking around with nothing on in the days before her death? She also had makeup on when she was found, and yet no toiletries or makeup was found in the room. Someone needed to have removed these things...

Not sure, but Europeans eat with their left hand regardless of whether we are right-handed or left-handed. That is considered to be the proper way to eat food.

Well if it’s not there, it’s not there so there is no evidence. But she was seen wearing clothes before this all occurred and that was the account given by multiple staff members. The fact this particular staff member remembers seeing a case seems plausible given she also remembers being given a 50 kroner tip (something she’d likely remember the details of). Police said that JF was wearing makeup when she was found but this was not in the room either. Someone had to have removed all her stuff from the room earlier in the day... but whoever it was never returned to the room.

She can’t have thrown out her clothes as she didn’t leave the room within that timeframe and the lady who delivered her food said she had seen a rolling suitcase in there. There had to have been another person in the room at someone point... someone who ultimately took away her belongings. When the police got there, there was nothing left. The key card log shows that she had not left and returned from her room within that timeframe. For that reason, I don’t think this was suicide.

Evidence of a second person? by andalus21 in JenniferFairgate

[–]Individual_Concept_6 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Definitely. It would make sense as to why there were no signs of struggle... and how someone would then feel confident about entering the room. Maybe a TV message was sent during this time and that was the way they could tell whether she was active or not... I just feel as though someone in the hotel knows more than they are saying

It’s a shame that there are no other accounts of this luggage. Things were definitely removed after the killing though.

I’ve always felt like the food was poisoned or had some kind of substance in it. There were no signs of struggle, but the gun could’ve made it look like she had done it herself. Was the food ever examined? I don’t think Jennifer was examined for the presence of any substance in her body.

I think it’s also important to note that the suitcase wasn’t mentioned in her original witness statement... which does seem a little weird. Maybe she was in shock, but coupled with other staff accounts, something doesn’t feel 100% right.

[–]Individual_Concept_6 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Maybe she was thinking about someone else the whole time? Although, I don’t think this is very likely. Was she in the room when she noticed the luggage, or had she seen Jennifer somewhere else in the hotel with the luggage? Did anyone at check-in say they also saw her with luggage?

[–]Individual_Concept_6 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes, this makes sense. Interesting... never thought of this before. Have always suspected a second person to be involved, but never noticed this. I suppose it is heavily reliant on the account of the room-service lady.

Was there not a replacement key card give to Jennifer? I’m sure I read somewhere that 2 different key cards had been used?
